  1. Full moon boys light cloud and a little moisture MAKE for very Scary LIGHTS.
  2. Not much more, it's a big lake but no 1 area large enough to get really rough. You can go to Dorset by boat shop at grocery hardware store get a cone and stop at LCBO.
  3. Lake of Bays would be my hands down pick. Lots of sand Baysville on 1 end Dorset on other and another town up 1 arm. Way nicer lake than Muskoka.
  4. I have the original 1 hr In Fishermen specials from the mid 80's and still watch them every year or 2. What's new is not! Lot's say Gary Y brought dropshot from Japan. The Linders have a segment on dropshotting mid 80's and 20 years later it's new.
  5. Same battery used in Accu Views available BPS at electronics counter, Radio World.
  6. Open the hood and get somebody sitting on that flat spot. Get weight on tires and it will walk out.
  7. I would pull that prop off and carefully inspect the rubber seal. Some times you can spin a hub slowly, just feels like blow out. Look for little twisted pieces of rubber.
  8. There really no issue unless you keep the fish out of water for a long period. If you don't like fizzing fish you can take that lead strap off your marker buoy and make a small hook. I tie it to a baitcaster. Just hook it on the lip and start the fish down. Most often they are nice and just get towed to bottom. I've fished areas for 2-3 hrs after towing one to bottom and never seen them again.
  9. For outside storage I don't like running engine and fogging because it leaves water in the impeller. I remove plugs and leave in gear. Spin the prop with foot and fog cylinders. For boats with pressure gauges pull hose and let water drain. And Rv antifreeze in livewells.
  10. Go BIG and LONG or stay home.
  11. John Howard Society will help your friend threw this process. it can take up to 2 years.
  12. I always have offset side cutters in my boat. They work great for cutting hooks very close to gills and throat. That gives the fish a chance. And I release all out of season fish and hang around a bit if they float up and are diffidently not going to make it I remove air sac and sink them.
  13. Go to DMV tell them you made the trailer. Pay your money and be done with it. You will get ownership and vin # you need scribe on trailer.
  14. Normally the frog migration is in Sept. You will see them all over the roads. At this time walleye will be extremely shallow.
  15. The longest rod I use is 6.10 for max casting distance. Clear and shallow water and flat calm and sunny for smallies. A 6ft for target fishing usally 30-50 Spider Thread Braid. Most days it's not hard to tell bits other days your blades will just stop turning or just slight slack in line.
  16. BPS sell a chrome fit over works great.
  17. If you are having trouble putting your boat on the trailer roller or bunk your trailer is in the water to far. Less trailer in the water lets the trailer center your boat.
  18. Napa, CarQuest or any auto parts store can get you NGK plugs.
  19. Judging by your location you either fish ponds or really big water. Go Big and Long or Stay Home.
  20. I wear auto inflate. Very comfortable to fish with. Still a little expensive but I'm no ballerina.
  21. Super proud to work for Redwing Tackle. Were huge effort is made to have parts produced in Scarborough and assembled in Ajax.
  22. I've caught them up to 3 lbs on erie. That was 40 years ago they might be bigger now.
  23. Go to your local tackle store. They all order out of the KTL catalog most on a weekly basis. If they won't do it call Hirk's in Courtice. Just don't ask for 1 package.
  24. So hook the charger to the battery now plug it in. If the needle jumps up charger is working. Most likely you have dead cell. Use your stroller some hook to charger if it says 11 volts you have a dead cell if it says 12.3 your battery is getting old and tired and you still need to replace. If your battery's start using water they are on there way out.
  25. I have 2 black plastic slays they are about 2.5 ft by 3 get the hard plastic ones. The smallest bungee cord on each side hooking them together. Then I made 2 open end boxes for my power auger Strikemaster 4 stroke lightest available. Adjust the boxes so there is some pressure from bungee cords. Add fairly long ropes that are also for safety. Hauled 2 different people out over the years that weren't getting out. And you have all that exacter room for rest of stuff. Caring sucks.
