  1. Just another cog in the gear to slow them down, if they want it, they'll just back up with a tow truck, slip the arms under the rear end, lift and be gone in about 30 seconds.
  2. Benos were great for Walleye and chrome Brooks Reefers were murder on salmon in the river abut 20 years ago.
  3. Could be a dirty bendix that won't allow the starter teeth gear to engage the flywheel.
  4. Not a bad idea, probably work well in winter snow too.
  5. Time to trade in the GM. If your vehicle lights work without trailer attached then the vehicle is fine. If they malfunction with the trailer attached, go back to whom gave you the trailer and ask for some Tylenol and explain you have a headache and are ready to inflict pain on them. Go to PA, get a wiring kit, read the instructions or have a competent person install it. In addition, run a dedicated WHITE ground wire from the trailer hitch end to each light socket.
  6. You got that right, I'd rather give up a short appendage than deal with that crap.
  7. Give the terminals a good cleaning and make sure they are tight. Then boost from another battery that you know is good. Then add the charger. He might have discharged it to the point where the charger doesn't "recognize" the battery.
  8. Maybe a contender. https://www.facebook.com/sothatsbuzzy/videos/1831476597072861/
  9. Make sure it pristine clean, clamping might be difficult but masking tape may hold it in the proper position to cure. Then you may have to run some past the edges of the joint to provide extra support.
  10. Careful, someones going to spirit you away to make toon shows.
  11. What he said, very good guy. Been around since dirt was invented and infantrymen were crusaders with sandals and spears.
  12. Take both to Canadian tire, they will do a load test and let you know. It's free
  13. Well if you looked on the trailer registration that's in your tow vehicle, you would see the plate numbers.
  14. 4/0 welding cable by the foot on sale, half price. Excellent.
  15. Just checked some reviews, sort of a hit and miss item. $40 each, hmm have to calculate whether it's worth the effort.
  16. Go in the back, they have 4/0 welding cable which is far more flexible and better stranding. I use it on my inverter for the trailer.
  17. Aluminum rims are my nightmare, almost lost the left rear on my truck last year, after retorquing about 4 times the dam things still managed to loosen. Now I leave the wrench in the truck.
  18. Like JohnBacon said, you might get new screw gaskets. I suspect they may have pressure pumped the new oil in a bit too vigorously and blew the seal out. Same thing happens when you over grease bearing buddies. As for the interior seal keeping the water out...hmmm.
  19. It's called oblivious to your surroundings and events. Some drivers are just plain brain dead.
  20. Ok thanks, looks like time has come to do the upgrade.
