  1. Well bummer, Barrie doesn't have any other than Metro Map.
  2. Get in, get out, Quit farting about. If I can't launch or retrieve within 2-3 minutes, I'd be ashamed.
  3. I can just imagine, somebody around here will see that and try it in the local marina. Can you say carnage.
  4. Maybe it's time to rattle the MNR to get it implemented.
  5. At minimum, all nets should be identifiable with a metal tag at both ends. If not, they get removed and forfeited to the Crown for destruction.
  6. I heard once that the cost of the shipping alone makes profit and the price charged is gravy. So even if you return the item minus shipping they have made something.
  7. Quite the video, but I question the lack of damage to the bluegill, no knife marks from filleting the fish, maybe got lucky. But then, how many times have you ever seen the head of an eaten fish pointing forward? I would think the pike would have a hard time swallowing with the dorsal spines pointing backwards.
  8. These were the original 2 questions, not how many Billy Bob can have in his freezer if he's separated but not divorced or anything else.
  9. I know I've read it, we asked CO a few years back, ran into a situation where one guy had to stay back and we transported his fish home for him packed separate with his particulars. Unless they have dumped that rule maybe.
  10. My bad, just reading in rules, you're right about that part
  11. A: none of the above responses answers the question. He's not exporting, he wants to know if someone else without a valid licence can transport someone elses fish. Yes: As long as the fish have the required 1 sq" patch, readily countable and have the owners particulars, name, address, fishing licence number.
  12. How anyone could waste money watching to leafs is akin to checking the sharpness of a blender blade with your fingers when the machines running. Oh ya, "wishing I was fishing"
  13. 10 out of 34 submissions, I wish we could detach the GTA from the rest of the province and a lot of us would be happy. Oh ya, and if O'Leary gets the PC leadership, I'll definitely vote for him.
  14. Fish do swim around and find the most appropriate place for themselves. Food source, water temps, etc, etc.
  15. What I fail to understand is how taxing us is taking carbon out of the air. It's a tax, not an air filter and it does jack squat to solve the problem.
  16. All I can say is a few years ago, that a couple of our group got extremely sick while staying in overnight huts heated by propane. We ruled out the obvious, drank too much, bad food, etc, not everyone ate the same nor got rat faced. I will never go back to that Hut Op. It didn't seem to phaze him too much. And, when I go back to overnight huts, I'll bring my own along.
  17. X3, no point in crying the blues here, call the MNR if you think we're pillaging and plundering.

  19. We did Idle Tyme for a number of years, very good service. Will probably go with them again next year.
  20. The price they want for the one with 100' of cable is nuts. If I was to buy one I would go this route instead. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Eyoyo-30M-7-Monitor-Infrared-Fish-Finder-Underwater-Recorder-DVR-Camera-Battery-/141859774826?hash=item210780616a:g:VN8AAOSwk1JWePpk At least you can get all the way down to where the whities hide.
  21. Just guessing but I think they may do it during the week only.
  22. Bad thing is the snow, it insulates the slush from freezing and takes way longer to become something I'd walk on.
