No need to worry Cliff, our new PM will make sure to spend even less on our military than his predecessors did. The Liberals have the worst record with spending in this area. Having said this, we will have nobody to send into a conflict.

Sorry for your loss Mike. What was your Grandfather's name?

Great news Cliffe, hopefully they catch the idiot. I bet his name is Rick O'Shea, no relation to Wayne!

I am an R/C guy with planes and have been flying for 5 years now. We fly a mixture of gas engine planes and electric engine planes at a sod farm near Queensville. I am in the process of building a WWII Mustang which will house a gas engine when done. It it quite large with 60" wingspan and built from balsa. It is my new winter hobby!

Well here I am a board member from very early on and a number of different versions of OFC. I love this board and the community of great people here. I read this board every day at least once and often more so. I don't often post or comment, so this is why it has taken me so long to get to this milestone. I don't fish nearly as much as I used to, so my my boat gets used much more for family day trips and cottage rentals on my favourite body of water, GBay. I have camped and fished the Moon River Basin and Massasauga PP since 1988 and just love the whole area. As a teeager, my buddy had a cottage on 12 Mile Bay just south of the Moon so that was when I first got to know and fall in love with the area. We have since been renting a cottage on 12 Mile from 2002 to present. I don't have many pictures to post because this BB limits the file size so it is not easy to put pictures up to link to a post here. Enjoy! Me and the Legend! I hate trying to sell stuff on Kijiji, there are far too many trollers and people who try to nickel and dime you to death. Why waste my time with stupid replies?

That is awesome that you can go to a place so close to where you live and looking so uninhabited to boot!

I have owned a Legend since 2001 and got a great end of season deal on it having been watching for a deal. I bought at the time after a lot of research for two years and found most boats other than Lund to be of a similar quality at that time in the size I was looking for. It was 17' to 18' with 75hp to 90hp. Lund was out of my price range so they were off the table. In the end I picked the Legend because it had the best interior layout at the time for my taste. Having owned the boat for 14 years now, I would not buy another one unless the quality has improved from what I currently have. Many of the screws in and around the dashboard and cockpit area have either come loose or fallen out many times and had to get put back in by me. I replaced what I could with nuts, bolts and lockwashers. Now in the last two years the decals are starting to curl up and fall off on the outside of the hull and they are no longer made. Bare metal is showing because the entire hull was not painted before the decals were applied. To me that is a shortcut. Some of the paint on the back of the transom is now bubbling up as well. If I did it all over again, I would only buy a Lund. I go on GBay a fair bit and a decent deep V is a must.

My company uses George H Young Custom Brokers in Winnipeg. They should be able to help you with everything except for the trucking. Here is the link: http://www.ghy.com/contact/ -
It looks like they all had a very good time with plenty of fish. Looks like a well rounded family to!

Very cool, it is so rare to see this in southern Ontario, usually the odd super cold night in the winter only.

Mike, there have been plenty of jerks on this board over the years. The good ones stick around and the others move on to the next board to poke at people. The internet can be a cowardly place. I read all of your adventures and have for years. I don't like to say great story or great post unless I have more to say. Keep it up, you have many fans!

Very freaky, could have been caught off of a nuke plant! -
It is a huge body of water to fish so you need to target a small area to fish. I have not been there in over 30 years so I cannot help you.

I love the jiggy reports and did notice less and less of them. For sure you have to book a week with the kids in January when they are planning out their year. We just got back from our annual week on 12 Mile Bay on GBay. Been doing this since 2001 and it is their highlight for the year!
