The original call of the wild. When I was in school our teacher used to read it to us a few pages a week. Could not wait until the next installment.. I love anything written about Ontario, places to visit . . . I'm in Ontario a tourism so it comes natural to want to know.

My usual drive at 8:05 or so was slow until I got to just west of Bayview. From what I could see see from the top of the hill was an animal on the road slowing down traffic, as I got closer and going west was York Region Officer in his cruiser, we met at the same time by the animal and it was a nice looking doe, we both went on our way and hopefully he made a report. Sorry to see an animal get killed and hopefully there is no fawn looking for mom tonight. On the drive home all was clear.

I have relatives that have property by Bon Echo. We used to use it for Wally opening . . I found a shed on a walk and took it home. After a while I figure this belonged back where I found it. I designed a wooden sign, (something you see ona golf course) with the family's last name, had it carved out and mounted the shed. They now use it has a hat rack as you walk in the door. Everyone is happy. me for the creative and they for the thought and use! Something rustic is always welcome. Cliff, no French for you lol

Cliff, this gentleman has a good business plan, keep your clients happy and they will come back and refer more. I have a cousin who does Reno work and new projects, he built his business on references, hard to do, but honesty is the best way to go. met an honest small engine repair person just like you on the weekend good advice and the price was right.

My daughter had that problem, crack in the cement foundation. The builder did and injection repair, sealed the crack on the outside and all is well. I can't give you details on how the injection works as I wasn't there to see. But looks like it works. I don't know if this would work if it was cinder block wall.

I used to love going really really fast, then they started to catch me! I sold the Firebird and they haven't seen a penny since 1973 I drive for the conditions, like Cliff said. I never get in anybody's way in good or bad weather. Years ago going ice fishing, going up the 400, light snow dark . . .just before the Oakridge we could see lights coming up fast, we were under the limit. he passed us with no problem and kept his speed, as we came over the ridge lights were looking at us in the center lane! he was fine, we kept going!

Many years ago on tha Geen, we take up a new bee as can be. Well never held a rod . . . The fishing guru "the Spinnerman" gives him the lay of the land 'cast up, drift and reel in . . . Feel a ug set the hook . . . Well, the casting wasn't all there. Finally gets one out and let's it drift way to much feels a tug and sets the hook, overjoyed in he reels, yelling fish On, fish on, one of the guys down the run starts yelling "cut the line you have my waders" and he keeps reeling, we took him home uninjured. -
take it home, carve it out, add the good stuff and sit by a fire beside the pool.
-
You just said "stuff it" yes Lew they are out to get us.

We save it and pay high for what we use and they sell to the States and Quebec for next to nothing! Figure that one out. Or pay them for not generating at all!

Point and shoot camera recommendation (nf)

I have Kodak and a Olympus good for every day general use. No underwater capabilities . . . But for genaral use they are good. I miss my SLR Pentax with manual controls If you can afford it go for a digital SLR and it will give you many years of enjoyment. many of our members are into photography and will chime in.
