There was a picture on a computer screen but not very good. Jo Ann Brown had heard there was an all-white deer in the area around her husband's family farm near Stratton, about 400 kilometres west of Thunder Bay. Then she got proof. She said people in the area had told them to keep a lookout for a white fawn over the summer. Brown said it was the opening day of deer hunting season this month when she and her husband spotted it in the field. The animal was with about nine other deer, and the couple noticed where the first half of the group had already crossed the road in front of them. Brown said "We hadn't seen him cross yet so we knew he was coming, so we drove up the road and spotted him on the right-hand side and sure enough my husband Wayne said get ready. There he went and we just happened to be in the right spot at the right time." Brown said she is not sure if it was an albino deer because she didn't get close enough to see if it had pink eyes, but there was no brown in its coat at all. The encounter was very exciting for Brown, she said. "It's kinda cool because I've never seen one in my lifetime and my husband hadn't seen one either. This is the first all-white deer that he's seen."

I have a alluminun 10x10 on very solid cement pad. Almost 6' at peak (Ct gift). I've had it for 9 years. It had some leaks which I fixed, door sliders are a pain to find and replace, done two. NO more sliders for me. heavy snow does the damage. If I had to replace I'd go vinyl for sure and then custom the inside, insulation shelving . I roughed in a pipe to run electic connection on the one I have now but not needed yet, no extension cord for me. My brother has one that he can extend and has done so. I don't know who makes it:( but he can buy panels,roof and sides and reattach the doors.

It may be a dicy one for sure Rod. Started way too early but then they are calling for 8 on Monday down here. So far in Woody we have only had a 'dusting'. I warned them about what they may expect when they bought the place. I Spent too many days on Simcoe in the winter to know.

I've done a couple, for other people. My last one was almost a killer. Going to work Nov 5 at 6am on the 401 just past Keele I hit a tire that came off another carand was laying flat on the ground, I made it to the Dufferin overpass and behind me was the car with no tire parked! he came over and told me it was his and told me it just had the tires changed! I got out to see what the damage was (driver side) next thing I notice cars were coming very, very close so they could take a look! See Yah! never again on a highway. CAA has it covered if need be. Funny thing when I get home I get a phone call from my brother wondering if that was me! The car I drove had a very distinct colour Something they called Teal back then.

I love when I see a government advertising and they add the tag line "Paid by the Government of Ontario" Think about it, who gave them the money in the first place. I had my modem (bell) go on the fritz, called for help. The fine person on the other end tells me to look behind the modem and copy down the number. It's 5 pt type and 39 numbers. he directs me to a site and asks me to enter the figures. he then tells me this is your NEW password! Bad words were exchanged and then he took my advice.

I read a story many years ago of an elderly gentleman down east went out and shot a collared moose and they traced it right to his house!
