My son's first fish

The other day, I skipped the storms and when it cleared up in the afternoon, I launched the boat for a couple of hours with my son Henry. He turns 3 in July and has never been on the boat. I more or less just wanted to take him for a ride but when we started marking good numbers of fish, we dropped down and got into one. He helped daddy reel it in and had a blast. Fun for me, fun for him! It was awesome hearing him tell mommy what happened in his broken english lol

I was stoked when lily caught a 12" walleye at age 4. But.....she reeled it in herself lol

 

Always amazing to see kiddos catching fish! It's just pure excitement!

There's nothing better than seeing your child catch their first fish

I've won several tournaments, caught true trophies in many species and still my fondest memories are fishing with my daughter

and with fathers day on sunday she's asked me to take her out fishing I'm one lucky guy

What an awesome event! I stiil remember my son's first fish at about that age. No the is 11 and outfishes me almost every time we are on the water!

Always a blast when a kid hooks a fish!! My granddaughter did a little 'happy dance' when she caught a mini bass last year!!
