DRIFTER_016 Posted November 3, 2017 Author Report Posted November 3, 2017 Not bad for a guy who's team has had 4 losses in the last 5 games And yet they still have more wins and less losses than the Sens.
AKRISONER Posted November 3, 2017 Report Posted November 3, 2017 great lil vid from my home town about Mr Bomber http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/video/community-of-flin-flon-shaped-bobby-clarke-s-life-and-career~1248988 I used to play road hockey with his grandkids
Acountdeleted Posted November 3, 2017 Report Posted November 3, 2017 It's unfortunate a bunch of the guys have been playing really well. The top line is doing amazing, Marleau has been a great pickup. Just need to see more out of the other guys, Marner and Bozak really need to smarten up and play like they can. D needs to tighten up across the team.
manitoubass2 Posted November 3, 2017 Report Posted November 3, 2017 I'm honestly kinda shocked how well marleau is doing. Marner really needs to pick it up. He kinda looks lost out there at times.
BillM Posted November 3, 2017 Report Posted November 3, 2017 Marners last game was pretty good. And he's a young kid, gotta cut him some slack. I think people forget these kids are still kids, not 27 year olds, lol.
manitoubass2 Posted November 3, 2017 Report Posted November 3, 2017 Oh I agree. I'm not ready to trade him lol. He's got nasty talent. But he needs to put some points on the board and get his confidence up. That's when he plays really really good.
DRIFTER_016 Posted November 3, 2017 Author Report Posted November 3, 2017 Kadri needs to smarten up. He coughed up the puck 3 times on one shift in his own end and it led to a goal. Too many soft plays with the puck in their own end by a lot of the fellas last night.
grimsbylander Posted November 3, 2017 Report Posted November 3, 2017 The offensive talent on this team sometimes makes us forget it's still a team in rebuild mode. The fact they're doing so well clouds the process and just how young these kids are. I'm also guilty of the getting memorized by the wins and the exhibit Matthews puts on nightly.

Easy to get excited with this team. I can't wait to see them in 2-3 years.
manitoubass2 Posted November 3, 2017 Report Posted November 3, 2017 Yup. Easy to get excited with this team. I can't wait to see them in 2-3 years. yep!
misfish Posted November 3, 2017 Report Posted November 3, 2017 WOW very sad http://www.cbc.ca/sports/hockey/nhl/kerry-fraser-incurable-cancer-1.4386455
BillM Posted November 3, 2017 Report Posted November 3, 2017 I'm not trying to be insensitive here, but most people that have that form of blood cancer have an excellent chance of living normal lives after diagnosis.
misfish Posted November 3, 2017 Report Posted November 3, 2017 I'm not trying to be insensitive here, but most people that have that form of blood cancer have an excellent chance of living normal lives after diagnosis. That is good to know Bill. I didn't know that.
muskymatt Posted November 3, 2017 Report Posted November 3, 2017 And yet they still have more wins and less losses than the Sens. LOL....we have a game in hand, 4 less regulation losses and are a point ahead. Look at it any way you want but you guys are in a free fall and the Sens (without the loss to the scabs) are looking good. 2 regulation losses in 13 games, 7 less GAG And....we made you guys look like a minor league team
BillM Posted November 3, 2017 Report Posted November 3, 2017 (edited) Matt, you're more dramatic then a preteen girl, lol free fall. We'll see how well the neutral zone trap is working for you guys in March Edited November 3, 2017 by BillM
Acountdeleted Posted November 3, 2017 Report Posted November 3, 2017 Let him have this. It'll probably be the only time he'll have one over on the leafs for the next 5 to 60 years.
muskymatt Posted November 3, 2017 Report Posted November 3, 2017 Let him have this. It'll probably be the only time he'll have one over on the leafs for the next 5 to 60 years. Ok, now lets just analyze this statement!!! The laffs were the joke of the league from 1967 to 2017 They had a rare playoff showing last year that made the fans think the cup was on their doorstep The laffs were eliminated in the first round by a depleted Bruins team Meanwhile the Sens went to double overtime in the conference finals against the cup champs They started the season high on adrenaline and youthful enthusiasm with no D and without a #1 goalie They now have lost 4 of the last five Sens are ahead in the standings, less regulation losses and are ahead in the head to head season games Muskymatt predicted the free fall Laff fan automatically thinks laffs will dominate Sens for life......(no emoticon needed)
Acountdeleted Posted November 4, 2017 Report Posted November 4, 2017 Ok so looking forward as I said, Anderson, Oduya and Burrows are all 36. Bobby Ryan is 30 and Phaneuf is 32. When the Sens come to Toronto do they get the seniors discount when they take the bus? Enjoy it while it lasts. Even if the Sens do better then the leafs this season, they are headed in opposite directions.
misfish Posted November 4, 2017 Report Posted November 4, 2017 On wide screen tonight. Seems I did not load for android last time. GO LEAFS GO
glen Posted November 5, 2017 Report Posted November 5, 2017 The loneliest player in the nhl Standing still 10 ft in front of the leaf net But at least he will get a goal
grimsbylander Posted November 5, 2017 Report Posted November 5, 2017 Just saw the score online at 6-5...are there any goalies playing tonight?
bow slayer Posted November 5, 2017 Report Posted November 5, 2017 2-6 in last 8 I would say free fall
manitoubass2 Posted November 5, 2017 Report Posted November 5, 2017 Ouch. A lil early to say we are in free fall but that ships gotta get turned around real quick here
Acountdeleted Posted November 5, 2017 Report Posted November 5, 2017 I wouldn't call the leafs recent record a meltdown, but I would say that about the amount of goals they have allowed this season is becoming very concerning.
lookinforwalleye Posted November 5, 2017 Report Posted November 5, 2017 sheet...you guys and Vegas said this was a slam dunk....I guess the season is 82 games long....
