John Bacon Posted October 25, 2017 Report Posted October 25, 2017 (edited) 1967-2017 So they're going to knock Ottawa out of the playoffs and appear in the conference finals... four times? That may take more than one year... Edited October 25, 2017 by JohnBacon
DRIFTER_016 Posted October 25, 2017 Author Report Posted October 25, 2017 Ottawa Senators Stanley Cup wins: 1927, 1923, 1921, 1920, 1911, 1910 Then they went kaput in 1954 only to crawl back out of the ooze in 1992. So by that info Ottawa has been Stanley Cupless from 1927-2017. Which seems to be 40 years longer than Toronto.
chris.brock Posted October 27, 2017 Report Posted October 27, 2017 Ottawa Senators[/size] to crawl back out of the ooze in 1992. Hahhahaha What genius decided to rejuvenate this franchise to crawl back out of the ooze and play the boring trap, tarp seats, have no fans, and basically dilute the NHL? Genius!
chris.brock Posted October 27, 2017 Report Posted October 27, 2017 My Habs friends/ acquaintances are loosing their minds. What the damn do they expect, to win 2 out of 3 in perpetuity, with a one man team? We are 10 games in but the sky has already fallen.

Something is going to happen in Montreal and I expect it won't be a minor change!
AKRISONER Posted October 27, 2017 Report Posted October 27, 2017 Something is going to happen in Montreal and I expect it won't be a minor change! booing cary price is a great way to keep a number 1 goaltender around... imagine they scared him off? wow...what would be left?
leaf4 Posted October 27, 2017 Report Posted October 27, 2017 booing cary price is a great way to keep a number 1 goaltender around... imagine they scared him off? wow...what would be left? Problem is how do you trade that huge contract and not retain salary? Unless you're sending prospects along to sweeten it lol
Raf Posted October 27, 2017 Report Posted October 27, 2017 it wont be price, it'll be coaching and or management.
manitoubass2 Posted October 27, 2017 Report Posted October 27, 2017 IMO price is as good as gone Classy move by the fans booing him. Jesus
AKRISONER Posted October 27, 2017 Report Posted October 27, 2017 (edited) Problem is how do you trade that huge contract and not retain salary? Unless you're sending prospects along to sweeten it lol 10.5 for the best goalie in the NHL? peanuts these days connor just got paid 12.5 per PK Subban is making that much, i dotn think anyone is worried about that "price"\ This is Pat Roy all over again Edited October 27, 2017 by AKRISONER
BillM Posted October 27, 2017 Report Posted October 27, 2017 it wont be price, it'll be coaching and or management. Yup. Price isn't going anywhere.
AKRISONER Posted October 27, 2017 Report Posted October 27, 2017 i love watching the xenophobic habs trying to find french replacements hahaha
muskymatt Posted October 27, 2017 Report Posted October 27, 2017 booing cary price is a great way to keep a number 1 goaltender around... imagine they scared him off? wow...what would be left? Nothing would be left but a bunch of small underachieving players. I bet Weber is kicking himself now!
jimmer Posted October 27, 2017 Report Posted October 27, 2017 Who in the heck would want to play under that microscope???? And they think T.O. is bad. Hero to zero in a year.

manitoubass2 Posted October 27, 2017 Report Posted October 27, 2017 (edited) 10.5 on someone who doesn't score goals is too much imoI disagree. World class goaltender is easily worth that in today's NHL IMO Remember, goaltenders win alot of games too(price is a perfect example) Edited October 27, 2017 by manitoubass2
Acountdeleted Posted October 27, 2017 Report Posted October 27, 2017 I disagree. No other position can boast this.
chris.brock Posted October 28, 2017 Report Posted October 28, 2017 (edited) booing cary price is a great way to keep a number 1 goaltender around... I'm not a Habs fan in the least but I found the booing really disrespectful after all he has done for that sad sack team. damn, it's 10 games in, there's gonna be ups and downs, what do they expect? That's the habs fans for you! I hate to say it but they really, truly believe they are hockey royalty and they act like it. They expect to win every game and if they don't , even the guy who gave them any fabric of success in the last 7 years is not safe from their wrath.
chris.brock Posted October 28, 2017 Report Posted October 28, 2017 Maybe they will get back Michel Therrien for a 3rd try, what a joke, xenophobia bordering on racism.

I like their passion but it doesn't work like that.
manitoubass2 Posted October 28, 2017 Report Posted October 28, 2017 Maybe they will get back Michel Therrien for a 3rd try, what a joke, xenophobia bordering on racism. I'm actually surprised this hasn't come up in major sports outlets. No other team is even CLOSE to being as xenophobic as the Habs in the hiring process from players to staff to coaching
manitoubass2 Posted October 29, 2017 Report Posted October 29, 2017 That was a perfect. Example of one goaltender winning and the other loosing the game. Leafs should have won that in a landslide. Anderson looked waaaaay off last night
LostAnotherOne Posted October 29, 2017 Report Posted October 29, 2017 This week will definitely be the leafs biggest test. Since my bedtime is 9:30 i wont get to see them play until Saturday. Go leafs go
