Ice Fishing Ham Posted February 6, 2015 Report Posted February 6, 2015 Nice work Terry. Looks like it will go through anything. Is this a kit or did you make it from scratch?
chris.brock Posted February 6, 2015 Report Posted February 6, 2015 (edited) Very cool! Is that a kit or a home made invention? Put a video up if you get a chance. edit- IFH beat me to it Edited February 6, 2015 by chris.brock
Terry Posted February 6, 2015 Author Report Posted February 6, 2015 I got most of the parts from hitch a track , they are out of business but had some parts Brian made a bunch of parts for me
lew Posted February 6, 2015 Report Posted February 6, 2015 Very impressive Terry, looks like that thing will go just about anywhere.
John Bacon Posted February 6, 2015 Report Posted February 6, 2015 Nice work. I assume that you started with a two wheel drive machine? If it was four wheel drive those skis on the front may not work quire as well as you hope.
manitoubass2 Posted February 6, 2015 Report Posted February 6, 2015 Where is the ductape red green?? Looks awesome
Terry Posted February 6, 2015 Author Report Posted February 6, 2015 I can switch from 2 to 4 wheel drive, so the skis will work just fine Wayne came up with a way to have the skis built around the wheels , so it will be able to be in 4 wheel drive, ..a summer project

Terry Posted February 6, 2015 Author Report Posted February 6, 2015 I will be making it 4" narrower , but not in time for the trip
irishfield Posted February 6, 2015 Report Posted February 6, 2015 4 inches shouldn't make any difference on our normal portages.. not sure you'd get up to Brown's with that though.
Gerritt Posted February 6, 2015 Report Posted February 6, 2015 We'll get some for you G when he's stuck between two trees!!! LMAO!
Old Ironmaker Posted February 6, 2015 Report Posted February 6, 2015 The ingenuity of the folks on this site is phenomenal. What a nice set up. Dragons Den boys? I'll do the Bull ing, you do the builds.

irishfield Posted February 6, 2015 Report Posted February 6, 2015 I don't know...you know the tightness of some trails. I'm just thinking before skis were the wide part and the narrow end followed. You're the other way around...
