jbailey Posted April 25, 2014 Report Posted April 25, 2014 17:28 DET Brendan Smith Interference against Reilly Smith big brother interferes with little brother haha. I played lacrosse with their older brother Rory in Mimico (all three are from mimico) but he plays professional lacrosse for Colorado Mammoth. Incredible fighter.
Valley Lad Posted April 25, 2014 Report Posted April 25, 2014 (edited) Mr . Smith and his son looked like they were enjoying the game last night , sipping on a glass of coke ??? Good hockey game too bad only one team can win.Thought Boston had the better scoring chances Edited April 25, 2014 by Valley Lad
davey buoy Posted April 26, 2014 Report Posted April 26, 2014 Anyone enjoying this afternoons Boston/Detroit game?Great game so far.
DRIFTER_016 Posted April 26, 2014 Report Posted April 26, 2014 Yep, I'm chillin' on the couch watching it.
muskymatt Posted April 26, 2014 Author Report Posted April 26, 2014 Anyone enjoying this afternoons Boston/Detroit game?Great game so far. Yup, good action. Nice set up for Chara. Too many penalty calls though.
kickingfrog Posted April 26, 2014 Report Posted April 26, 2014 The Colt's had an open try-out/game for their draft picks and free agents today. My son thought it was great, and he ended up with another Colts puck. Next game for him will be the Memorial Cup. When you're five, a month seems like forever.
bushart Posted April 26, 2014 Report Posted April 26, 2014 OK Stotster---crack open a pop----and join the rest of us in the ouch section I'm kinda takin a little solace that Alfie went to the Wings cuz they had a better chance---apparently tho just to play 5 more games than the Sens
muddler Posted April 26, 2014 Report Posted April 26, 2014 It doesn't get any better than this. My two favourite teams face each other. Although I'm a Bruin fan first and a Canadiens' fan second, either team going to the next round will be great. I love this time of the year, An trout opener on top. muddler
SirCranksalot Posted April 26, 2014 Report Posted April 26, 2014 Anyone enjoying this afternoons Boston/Detroit game?Great game so far. Much better hockey once the riff-raff(i.e. the Leafs) have been sent packing.
grimsbylander Posted April 26, 2014 Report Posted April 26, 2014 No surprises in that series. Boston was overall dominant and for the most part the Wings looked like a team the only mathematically qualified.

davey buoy Posted April 26, 2014 Report Posted April 26, 2014 (edited) Looking to be a great series!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO HABS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Edited April 26, 2014 by davey buoy
Stoty Posted April 27, 2014 Report Posted April 27, 2014 (edited) Great game today as well. All but one game was close and could have gone either way. In the end Boston was just that much better. A simple bounce in OT of game 4 and it's a whole new series. All in all a very entertaining one and congrats to Boston. The better team won the series. Gonna be hard to stop them when they get Rollin'. They'll def stomp on the Habs. On a different note...Pittsburg is in some poop I think. This CBJ team is giving them much more than they bargained for. Great hockey is being played in all series so far. Can't wait to see how it turns out. Edited April 27, 2014 by Stoty
leaf4 Posted April 27, 2014 Report Posted April 27, 2014 Reimer to Pittsburgh?? lol Marc Andre fleury is dropping the ball hard
jbailey Posted April 27, 2014 Report Posted April 27, 2014 Reimer to Pittsburgh?? lol Marc Andre fleury is dropping the ball hard fleury was the second star
leaf4 Posted April 27, 2014 Report Posted April 27, 2014 fleury was the second star started the game off wrong though, and with all the fire he's been coming under the past few games letting in softies or making big mistakes ex. going to play the puck behind the net, missing it having it end up on an opposing players stick and into the net which was the tying goal where they eventually lost on a softie wrist shot from just inside the blue line lol if you have the score app look at the multitude of articles about him apparently him and the team got the stare down from Lemieux after that comeback loss

BillM Posted April 27, 2014 Report Posted April 27, 2014 If Pitts loses this series, you won't believe what's going to happen come the off season.. You heard it here first folks! lol! Good effort by the Wings, but Boston was just too much. Boston/Montreal could be the series of the playoffs, can't wait!
kickingfrog Posted April 27, 2014 Report Posted April 27, 2014 Wow, don't tell me that the Sharks are going to choke on it again. Going into the series I would have said it's a pick'em (and thought that the Sharks would win) but to be up 3-0 and then lose would be a colossal collapse.
tb4me Posted April 27, 2014 Report Posted April 27, 2014 Dead things managed to play 5 more games the Leafs or Sens..Funny stuff..The Bruins are going to crush the Habs....Its going to be a good ass kicking, thats for sure....

Eh, I don't know about that. It's not like they slaughtered Detroit. The best game they played in the entire series was game #5.
