Hi all,

Went out for Whitefish and lakers today with my buddy Carmon. Drilled holes in 34'FOW...did not have to move off that spot...got some tank whitefish and 2 decent lakers. Action was non-stop for whities and we missed a good 2 or 3 more lakers.

Definitely needed a good session....brought the pink gloves with me....they worked their magic!

Variety of lures used...most successful were white tube jigs...crappie size and 4".

THANKS GBW!

Congratulation, very nice fish.

To me, this fish looks like a Splake. Very nice fish!

What do you think are the fish the whitefish had eaten, smelt?

Yup, smelt. I'd say with confidence that that is a laker.

Great work Simon, those whities are brutes. Man, I wish I could find them close to home... I have some work to do.

Amazing day of fishing Simon, good for you, your back on track.

Going to have to come back south to fish with you for a day. No whities caught here yet.

My son and I enjoyed the video, thanks again,

Strangely no one really fishes for whities up here in the winter, :dunno: hard to find where they are.

Alot of whities are caught casting in late summer into fall, alot different from back east.

Thanks again for posting the video, we will look for a seat sale.

Cheers and the next time u go out catch one for us.
