Headhunter Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 How did it taste? Like a musky, bow or chinny? LOL HH
oxcowboy Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 musky or not, that is still a heck of a fish. i wouldnt mind catching one like that anytime, even if i was targeting musky. nice catch. jason
Pachone Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 wow that IS a really healthy looking Pike.... and the size is huge!!! meet u at barrie! lol
markiemark70 Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 (edited) Nice fish for sure. Just an innocent question here, but does holding a large fish like that (rather than horizontally) decrease its chance of survival? Or did he keep it? Edited July 10, 2009 by Mark Adams
Radnine Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 The fish looks nice and healthy but IT IS A PIKE NOT A MUSKY! I am going over to his house to punch some sense into him. Cudz, with all due respect, after looking at the picture of your friend I think you should exhaust all known forms of education before resorting to physical violence. You would have your hands full duking it out with that Pike, let alone the monster that's holding it! Jim
bucketmouthjohnny Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 Wow!! that is a huge bass Seriously though, nice pike!!!! Gotta agree with Radnine, you might have a chance with the frying skillet to the back of the head
blaque Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 I agree radnine, if it were me..........I'd just grin and say...... Uhhhhhh, WoW, That there is a nice "Musky"
bigbuck Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 And here I was thinking that it's a Tuna!! LOL!! Your buddy should study the back of the fishing regs book, it shows pics of the various sportfish here in Ontario and their identifying characteristics. Nice Northern, anywhere you fish, that is a nice one!!
cram Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 Aurora trout. Seriously though - not everyone is going ot know the difference btwn a pike and a musky (half my friends certainly don't). I remember as a kid my dad catching this huge pike on a crazy crawler......biggest pike i had seen. Looking back now, it was clearly a musky. W e just didn't know any better.
Cudz Posted July 10, 2009 Author Report Posted July 10, 2009 Wow!! that is a huge bass Seriously though, nice pike!!!! Gotta agree with Radnine, you might have a chance with the frying skillet to the back of the head We have fought twice. Both times at a bar. I won the first tilt and I am pretty sure the second fight was a draw. He is big. About 230 and strong as can be. He is my workout partner as well. We might go again. I really don't mind a good scrap.
scuro2 Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 You may want to buy him a fish identification picture book for Christmas.
misfish Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 We have fought twice. Both times at a bar Liquid courage.LOL J/K Thats a very respectful pike for the AREA.
