lunkerbasshunter
A little over a year ago we lost a close family friend here in Oakville to cancer who was in his mid 50's. Tonight my wifes uncle from Callandar has been given 24 hours to live. He is in his early 50's. I hope he goes as quick and as painless as possible. I hate this freakin desease! pikehunter
Terrible news. Sorry to hear of your wife's uncles diagnosis. The best anyone can wish for him is to not have to suffer too long in pain. Be thankful for his time here on earth with your family and pray for the best. He is much too young. OhioFisherman
Sorry Lunker, watched my grandfather and dad die at home from it, mom lost an eye to it a couple years ago, and my father-in-law has had cancerous growths removed twice. I think everyone has lost someone close to them from this disease. 24 hours...wow...was it undiagnosed before then? My dad fought and suffered for 3 years before he lost his battle. Regards to the family...and to all that calls him friend.
lunkerbasshunter
no ccmt it was diagnosed over a year ago. he has declined rapidly in the last 2 weeks. It was expected by the famly for sure it still doesnt make it any easier. He is still hanging in there but in tremendous amounts of pain and the drugs are maxxed out. At times like this you wish we could give a shot or pill to end it. funny how we treat animals more humanly then people.
