  1. Friggin cold for bathing but if I remember correctly, was around 65 - 68 most of the time we were there then.
  2. Look into the Eco Energy program as well, if your upgrading the attic to R40 or R50 the rebates on doing this may go along way to paying for the job.
  3. Agreed, $0 Rick, in all seriousness, I feel for you and the fellow mods at this time of year. Good luck
  4. Great report Rich, sorry the musky weren't cooperating with you but still looks like a great trip. Thanks for the Ferry pics too, wets the appetite since we are heading up there in a couple weeks to spend Thanksgiving with my sister, hope you left me a few bass
  5. I couldn't give a flying fart what evidence he has. Congrats Tony, you put your time in on the water and you deserve what you won. Enjoy!!!
  6. Congrats Jamie, looking forward to the show
  7. I spent 2 hours on the phone the other day with Mr. Patel in Mumbai the other day solving a tech support issue for a Canadian accounting software package we use at work. With no offence to anyone of any ethnic background who may be or become immediately offended by the following statement I am sorry, but I am certain that Mr. Patel passed this very test. Thanks for the laugh PH
  8. Sadly, once you give these pirates your account number and the 10 day right to cancel period passes there is not much you can do. I have some seniors who are customers and they are paying horribly inflated natural gas rates for the same reason.
  9. Wayne, very sorry to hear of the loss of your sister. Cindy and I send along our condolences.
  10. Are you looking for a private charter or to ride on one of the commercial tugs?
  11. Hey Rich - thanks for the pic. Yup will be good to be heading "home". The moose may be out when you go back up - not sure what my sis is planning this year but hopefully I can point you in the right direction after I return.
  12. Went out on one of his boats a couple years ago and had a great time. First class operation. His crew was great, lots of fun even though the fishing was slow that day, we had a great time.
  13. ART, thanks to Doug and his recommendation of it in the past I looked into it when I got it in Nov. Back to normal now after a couple months of treatment and no surgery. Don't think I said it before but Thanks Doug.

  16. Sometimes crap happens. Wonder how the day went??
  17. Congrats Simon, beautiful looking boy. Glad to hear all went well and mom and Jack are doing fine. Get ready for the wild ride of parenthood, enjoy every moment of it. No video though ??
  18. I have the same rod down in the basement, was wondering what use I had for it. Glad I didn't get rid of it. Thanks TB
  19. Sorry for your loss Bernie. I had to do it a couple of years ago and it is so very hard. Our thoughts are with you tonight.
  20. Jacques, my deepest condolences on the loss of your father
  21. I was going to suggest not enough fibre in the diet if he is shaking the whole house but your explanation sounds more reasonable. (Just getting it back up top for you Charles, good luck with the repair)
  22. Joey, hope Paul is feeling better and I will agree with most. If the pain is shooting down the legs likely sciatic nerve. I have had it twice and it is hell. Good massage, chiro and muscle relaxer and hopefully whatever is pressuring the nerve will ease off and the recovery can begin.
  23. Emil, not sure what insulation you have in the basement currently but if you look into the Eco Energy program, there are some good grants for insulation. You would pay around $325 for the home energy assessment and any improvements you do you get money back based on the improvement. There are very good rebates available for insulation, especially basements, so you will come out ahead if there is not much insulation there now. http://oee.nrcan.gc.ca/residential/persona...alify-grant.cfm
