I came across a 25 cent note(paper) Its dated January 2 1900. Dominion of Canada Authorized by R.S.C. Car.31. Ottawa. It looks real and is in good shape. ??????? What do I do with this? Don.

It may be posible that your setting your drag to lite? That will destroy any reel in no time. What line are you using? Mono has lots of give to it. Tighten up yor drag to the point you think it would break then back off 1/4 turn.

Im lucky this time aruond. Ill be working on the long weekend. It doesnt effect my favorate store in the whole WORLD The Beer Store.. I remember lining up for 30 mins just to grab a 24 from the Molson plant 427 and 401 AHHHRRGGGG.... The sore spot should be all of the independt LCBO retailers seing as they have payed the money to carry a licience to sell spirits/wine and beer.

There is a clause in our laws that allow you to use "equal and opposite force". (I hope thats spelled rite) It pretty much means you cant take a gun to a knife fight. (laymans terms) Having said that.. IN Canada the second you piont a gun at somone for whatever reason its concidered as intent and therefore crimminal charges will likely follow.

If any one of you think you would have the time to get your gun during a home invasion or what ever senario then your kiding yourself. You have all the same rights in Canada as you would in the USA. The only real differance is. What? Take a course. No criminal record. Register your guns and store them properly along with ammo. Whats the problem???? Dont forget that In Canada its a privalidge not a rite to own or bare fire arms...

If it converts into an ice fishing rod as well I want one. Years ago I used a spinning reel on my fly rod and had a blast . As long as your not throwing any thing heavy I think the rod will hold up Ok.

I have one of those to. All the same circumstances only now you cant camp there its all private land. Forks of the Credit and I also have a charcole work of the old train station before it was an icecream store. Its a cool story my Great Grandfather worked on building Maple leaf gardens .When the builder ran out of monney they paid tradesmen with lots along the forks of the credit. I miss going there saying hi to Great Gramma going fishing and coming back to great food and helping out around the cottage Ahh the good old days... Don. -
If it were me in your position I would concentrate on the engine rather than looks or speed? I say that because without a good engine pushing your boat then its all pretty much worthless? Its a long way from that old cannoe.. Good luck Don.
