  1. Yeah, that gin-clear stream is ridiculous. Great report... Mr. Adventure you are
  2. Cool report. Sounds like most of my summer brookie attempts.
  3. Decent! Man, those simcoe smallies...
  4. Joey Tier and I walked into a small lake and used a cached canoe (super comfortable and absolutely leak-proof) to chase largemouth. That's all we could find. Over 100 fish and one slab-a-rooney. I went back last night for an evening fish and got over 25 in less than 2 hrs. Needless to say, I got my fill of largemouth bass for a while.
  5. This one I couldn't put down! Like Chris said, that 49" pike is ridiculous. You could have climbed one of the nipigon rock walls had you strung all those pike together. You and Rob did a great team-guide... sounds like you guys got just as much, if not more, out of the week than the NFF guys! Having been to ORR, fished with Rob and Loki, this report spoke to me. (thanks to Spincast for inviting me up there a couple years ago). Fantastic.
  6. Near Callander? Have you considered Callander Bay? :whistling: All jokes aside, if I were to bass fishing around here, I'd be going to one of the many surrounding lakes that are stacked with bass and rarely get fished. Not all, but many of them have decent launches for small-mid sized boats
  7. Nice (the fish not the legs)! Ive never fished for lakers there, but I did consider it strongly this year. Opted for an overnight fishing adventure instead
  8. I've had some rough days in the Ottawa. Morning and evenings rule. Look for rock shoals or Boulder piles mid river.
  9. It's because the predators are HUGE this year! Awesome catch and great story... That'll be top of mind for a while
  10. oh yeah, charged with murder of his dad as well! Crazy!
  11. That was a wild trial to follow. Scumbags indeed. Don't they have other charges on them yet to be settled?
  12. all that PLUS bbq and beers? Nice!
  13. sounds like you have CARP-el tunnel..... booooooo
  14. I will add nothing of value, expect if you are going base an argument around other people's lack of intelligence, you should avoid the use of childish photos and catch lines, especially on the third or tenth time.
  15. Nice landing, and yes, you nearly landed on Joey's hotspot where that massive 10lbs+ rainbow was caught...wish I could find the pic
  16. Amazing trip! Jesus those brookies are nice there!! You like metal detecting, check out the show 'Detectorists'! Hilarious!
  17. If I won the lottery, I would be worried that I'd stop doing small things I like doing, such as maple syrup. Or maybe I'd buy the biggest, baddest evaporator and have crazy maple syrup parties and paying bands like Wintersleep to play live in my custom sugar shack while I feed everyone maple-brewed beer.
  18. Great post. Lots of father/son/daughter reports lately. Time for me to get on it!
  19. Hilarious! Roloff knows when you have a bite before you even do
  20. Great walleye opener! Glad to hear from you again By the way, the tip ups you made me still work perfectly

Well then, I've been corrected. Thx. Not that I ever really fish out of zone 11 anyway.

If you catch in separate zones you can keep more, but be ready to prove where you caught them
  23. good stuff. Enjoyed that...and nice release
  24. Nice gold color to them
  25. ha, you can see the bugs in the background in the one pic. Nice boat.
