  1. Nip has blue and yellow-coloured walleye. I know ther are genetic debates and the true blue pickeral only ever existed in Eerie (extinct now), but it's obvious that some fish have a different tone when you see them side by side. I read that nip used to have a blue pickeral population prior to the stocking of the yellows in the early 1900's but I don't know if they were true blues or just a colour variation. There are some historical topics on this board you should search up, interesting reads
  2. The quality of the meat was right up there with walleye, in my opinion.
  3. I lived in Sudbury for a summer. Wasn't a fan. CBC radio had the North Bay mayor and the Sudbury mayor trying to explain why each town was better. It went like this: Sudbury Mayor- " it's called GREATER Sudbury for reason!" NB Mayor - " We have SUNSETS!" Haha, it's like Shelbyville and Springfield.
  4. Caught from Nipissing this winter. WTH?? I've never caught one through the ice! Really cool. Me and Nipfisher caught some around 18" a few years ago, but that was during the spring run. I don't know why I'm so excited by this hahaha. http://www.recordfishcanada.com/white-bass1.html
  5. Add anywhere near toronto and your list matches mine.
  6. We are planning a boil party in late March or early April. It's not so much a party as a few guys collecting sap, wearing t-shirts in the snow and drinking beer. Join us if you can!
  7. Easy drilling this year eh? Thanks for the recap, I can't get over the average size of the fish I'm seeing!

  11. You may be right. We still have 3-4 feet of snow in the bush. But that will change quick.
  12. how far north have the runs reached so far? I was going to hold off tapping until next week, but looks like things are lining up for an early run.
  13. Bahahaha Rick! I'm hoping to at least get a pro staffer offer from Trout Junkie ("Leechman" made my tipups) out of this news story.

  19. I recommend fishing from 0 to 1 foot. Just be careful not to drive your auger blades into the sand
  20. That's small compared to the pike I made up
  21. With Vianet I have a whopping 1.5mb download speed with unlimited data and Netflix runs just fine. $54/mth. As soon as I stopped caring about Hockey, cable/satelite became useless to me. Hilarious, i couldn't be more in the same canoe (except the script blocker).
  22. These aren't government stats, Each political party has a "machine". They do their own stats and info gathering just like Google and Apple aim to know your children's ages, spending habits, .. Frig, name it they probably figured it out about you
