  1. Wow, those are some tanks. Nicely done.
  2. Can always count on a Tdunn report to be well done, thanks .
  3. Glad to hear Wayne. That girl is the definition of the Fighting Irish.
  4. don't count on them accepting the credit card as proof of purchase.Oh, that $250 purchase could have been anything, not necessarily that bicycle that we have the exact matching one out in the sports section at the exact same price...... . so only stuff I buy there now, it doesn't matter if they don't honour their policies. Just gives me one more story when I'm out tolling with a few friends. Same goes for almost any big box vendor these days, with a few notable exceptions. I'll pay the 10 -15 % premium for service, integrity and a person behind the counter who knows me when I come and takes the time to look after me. Interesting how in the long run it seems to cost less.
  5. yeah, I was up every hour through the night checking, and Randy from Sturgeon pretty much the same. Bummer, would have been cool to see, I was hoping maybe you could have got some shots like those ones of the milky way from Nipigon; that would have been awesome. maybe next time
  6. The CTC in Brantford ( biggest one in my immediate shopping area) only gets purchases below $50.00 They have been less than supportive on returns, especially big ticket items, even when their own staff (from the appropriate department in the store) have indicated otherwise, one time too many.
  7. Check your pms. If you add that to my report from August, you'll get the whole picture.
  8. great shots Dave and Ron. We had a Saw Whet owl on our feeder one morning looking in the window. unfortunately by the time we came back with the came he was gone. Hoping he'll come back again and stay a while this time.
  9. Sounds like we have an opportunity for great Northern light show tonight. Unfortunately, I suspect my view will be poor - but anyone who gets any shots be great to see them (here or in the photo section) hopefully I will be able to see some slight glints in the sky http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/northern-lights-to-dance-across-much-of-canada-tonight-1.2490272
  10. Went to Onaman last year, going again this year. I can pm you with some details on the weekend. Moosebunk did a great report on the place last year as well. If you have any particular questions, send them my way and I'll do the best I can to answer them.

  12. In 2013 the scope was on a Tyee and 40+ inch pike. Got the Tyee, but the pike is still on the radar; so 2014 will be esox hunting - really want to add to my 1 and only muskie;. add in a Dunnville channel cat in the spring for a new specie and we got enough to keep us busy for a few months. Every year I try and add to the skills and teach myself how to use one more tool in the tacklebox. I've had a couple Torpedo Divers in there for two years now, this is the year we find out how (well) they work.
  13. :rofl2: :rofl2:...NOT well, maybe with a hut for fishies that size
  14. great report - fantastic fish, and a great fishing partner too - congrats man.
  15. Congrats on the new ride, sweet looking ride. Cant wait for your first report accessing the back lakes, cant help but wonder if it will look like this though .. If I remember, you also had some fun on the ice last year?
  16. Try giving Greyhound a call. They used to offer package shipping and it was dirt cheap compared to the other modes. I haven't shipped this way in years, but I'm pretty sure they still do within Canada. You drop off and pick up at the station. Your challenge is going to be the customs documents for unaccompanied goods. There is a special entry that has to be done for that type of shipment, even if it is used. Expect them to be opened by customs each way as the tubes would be the size and shape they might be interested in - especially as unaccompanied goods, so insuring them with the carrier might be a thought.
  17. If you see them today, I'm sure the coffee would be appreciated, as well as perhaps something more substantial if you have it. Not a lot of places to buy a snack or a meal on Christmas day.
  18. Merry Christmas Brian, to you and all your family. May this year bring you health, happiness and good fortune.
  19. Merry Christmas to all

  20. I wanted to take a moment to say thanks to all the hydro workers, many of whom I suspect will work through Christmas day so others can get their power back, and a few of whom I suspect are members here. And while I'm here - Merry Christmas to all - may you receive health, happiness, and good fortune this holiday season
  21. Nice outing, good to see some relaxation going on in your world, good on Terry & Lloyd. and as Mr Bill ...what a classic
  22. Anyone else find IE 11 makes adding links and photos become an exercise in frustration? Chrome dome time for OFC

I'm still on 7 pro and refuse to let my computer do the update. Can't quote, but you can cheat by using the HTML icon for links using or [url} tags
