Made a good deal at CTC Barrie south, Salus 1200 float coat on clearance, reg $320 down to $159 and used my Xmas gift card, walked out $80 tax in. they had a couple more larges and mediums, no XL, I got last XXL.

The boat is a 16' Princecraft Starfish tiller, I added my own floors. I carry the regular downrigging stuff, FF, radio, etc. Since there was no listing for recommended props for my boat, the dealer started me off with a 10 3/4 x 17P, far too much pitch. I went down one size to a 10 3/4 x 16P, was a tiny bit better. Finally went to an 11 1/8 x 13P and it's not at max listed rpm yet. I can get down to about 2mph with 2 people in the boat although I may buy a spare and go one size further down yet to 11 5/8 x 11P for when I'm alone downrigging. If the wind isn't too bad it might but how safe is another situation. Close to shore fine but I wouldn't hit the middle.

Well it hasn't been really all that cold so far. Bit of a dip coming and then it warms up again.

They managed to drag it back out with a couple other Bombies. Ya, I can imagine without floats.

I've got the same one, 3 years old, runs like a top, idles like a dream with the electronic idle control. Power assist is a 2 finger assist up or down. It runs soooo quiet. I had to try a couple different props at first. The one they gave me had way too high of a pitch, couldn't get slow enough for trolling and wouldn't get close to top rpm. Let me know if you want the size number I have, I'll have to check.

At minimum, all nets should be identifiable with a metal tag at both ends. If not, they get removed and forfeited to the Crown for destruction.

I heard once that the cost of the shipping alone makes profit and the price charged is gravy. So even if you return the item minus shipping they have made something.

Quite the video, but I question the lack of damage to the bluegill, no knife marks from filleting the fish, maybe got lucky. But then, how many times have you ever seen the head of an eaten fish pointing forward? I would think the pike would have a hard time swallowing with the dorsal spines pointing backwards.

These were the original 2 questions, not how many Billy Bob can have in his freezer if he's separated but not divorced or anything else.

I know I've read it, we asked CO a few years back, ran into a situation where one guy had to stay back and we transported his fish home for him packed separate with his particulars. Unless they have dumped that rule maybe.

A: none of the above responses answers the question. He's not exporting, he wants to know if someone else without a valid licence can transport someone elses fish. Yes: As long as the fish have the required 1 sq" patch, readily countable and have the owners particulars, name,address, fishing licence number.

Fish do swim around and find the most appropriate place for themselves. Food source, water temps, etc, etc.

What I fail to understand is how taxing us is taking carbon out of the air. It's a tax, not an air filter and it does jack squat to solve the problem.

All I can say is a few years ago, that a couple of our group got extremely sick while staying in overnight huts heated by propane. We ruled out the obvious, drank too much, bad food, etc, not everyone ate the same nor got rat faced. I will never go back to that Hut Op. It didn't seem to phaze him too much. And, when I go back to overnight huts, I'll bring my own along.
