  1. Ditto: we did it a number of times back in the late '80's, Georgian Bay Fish Camp http://www.georgianbayfishing.com/ rustic to say the least. When thunderstoms come, man do those rocks shake and rattle. We dropped the trucks at Key River and 400, then boat taxi out to the islands. You really have to follow the markers and even then there's a prop mangler around every corner. Their rentals had prop and skeg protectors and the boats were the old steel hull titanics. Nowadays the GPS will really help. Tried some night fishing, man, talk about getting lost. One trip had a total of 1 walleye and 1 hammer handle, another was nothing but OOS bass.
  2. Bahahahaha, Brian you need just a little more weaving and bobbing, just like a boxer. That's why I call him bobbing Rob Cooper..can't stand still for 30 seconds.
  3. Can I ask how much you paid for the Eco diesel?
  4. Yoyo weather here all day, cloudy, sunny, raining, windy, temps from 11 to 21, back to 12, now up to 19, somethings gonna happen..
  5. Like the others said, Red Creek would most likely be along the imaginary continuing line on the right (west) side of Blue River. the other two cold be the same or may go upstream to where the shown pools end. Further check in the regs states if it's not listed, check with your local MNR office.
  6. Ha, ask my shin about my old one, pulled a Bill Dance once...man did I dance. Then I got a "finished" hitch with rounded edges.
  7. Read 1(d) above and it's not for obstructed plate.
  8. He didn't get the ticket personally, just watched them being handed out. I'm sure there's more rampant crime out there.
  9. A really chicken poop Provincial section:
  10. Got a call this morning the local fuzz in Newmarket were handing out tickets for leaving your hitch head in the receiver. They must be really, really bored. As if there's nothing more important and they expect respect from the public and ask for help. Bite me.
  11. I think years ago they changed "derby" to "festival" to make it more P3TA correct. Derby would make you think of lots of big fish to try and win. Now you can enter the daily registration with a live perch no matter how small or big.
  12. Pamela Andersen would fit right in with the dairy herd...
  13. Gonna pull your leg here, just goes to show you how things go wrong, "most" DC wiring, red is +, black is - So, sometimes the wire just might be a bit more difficult to connect to one terminal because of its length to the battery post. Other than that, it's a Polaris, bottom of the totem pole for reliabilty and quality. Sorry.
  14. Honestly, it can be hit and miss, some days the perch biting will be non stop, other days you couldn't blow one out of the water with a brick of C4. Closer to the Narrows you can often see them swimming around in big schools, dangle the hook and minnow and they swim away. Other days, you can drop a bare hook down and they're fighting for it. Hope you pick the right day and your little fellow has fun.
  15. Hop in at Angus and you'll be at the beach in a couple hours.
  16. Borden has quite a number of water quality testing sites that are checked regularly. Then there are other areas that "shouldn't" be freqented due to "stuff". Stuff does leach into the ground water and that's where I'll end my input.
  17. That time of year again, the scammers are hard at it. Had two cretins from OEG trying to barg into my house to check my furnace and A/C. Do some internet research before you even open the door to these thugs. Any Grannies and Grandpas in your neighbourhood clue them in.
  18. No different than having a coupler lock, an extra couple of seconds to slow the thief. I would just take the front of the swing piece off, then there's no coupler.
  19. I think swing tongues are the weak link unless you check at every use. That's like you should do a walk around once a week to check all your lights etc. I'm sure everyone does that too . I would be more in favour of a sliding tongue (one inside the other) with an exterior doubler or stiffener.
  20. Part of the problem with the new augers in general is that the carbs are factory set for "ideal" conditions. Some of the newer ones have a red cap over the adjustment screw, pop that off with a pair of pliers and open it up about 1/8th to 1/4 turn counterclockwise.
  21. I'm thinking you mean the lower unit prop shaft bearing? front and rear? Why the bearing, was the prop damaged and bent the shaft?
  22. Ya, that's the strange thing. The Pine was dirty and up about 18 inches, the Mad was up about 2 feet but not as dirty. Then the Notty is in need of some ex lax. I seriously believe they need to blow that big log jam out of there.
  23. Cabelas, so far in over 20 years never had a problem with them.
