  3. B we all made mistakes, I konw what tou mean, had many happy rides Ina few but not mine. A great friend of mine bought a 1972 Nova 327 2-door. We worked at Richmond and John CityTV corner . . . Working midnights we would drive down Spadina onto the Gardner at 4 am And then drag to Bathurst, get off and back to work. What a noise this made We all did it!

A 1983 Ford LTD brougham, then a 1989 mini van and 1995 Jeep grand. back to a Jeep Compass in 2010. We did have a 55 Chevy 2-door which we played with in my dad's driveway util he said "get rid of it" that was a mistake
  5. Or send you more ice and -50 temps. Enjoy it Dave!
  6. Refugees get more than us! Cliff if it's just starting up, I figure you have to contribute into it before you collect anything. That leaves us oldies out, I may be wrong. They aren't being very open on this one.
  7. Another excuse to hike our electricity rates through the roof, as they sell it to others for nothing!
  8. Me too! At 5:30 7 and Weston Road.
  9. Yesterday I drove from Steels and the 404 to Newmarket, sunny, windy, rain, ice pellets and when I got to the hospital some woman was talking snow in the elevator! Ah yes spring has arrived. That tulip will regret ever coming up!
  10. So am I! Done ads for bus shelters, bilboards and now a book, with info on where to eat shop and . . . should go to print next month!
  11. B, he'll buy enough wire to make a electric smitty.
  12. In the last picture that thing with the lop on the end; if you have a bridge, you can loop floss in it and it comes out the other side and then 'floss' while fishing. I could be wrong B. There is a lot of flossing going on in the fall!
  13. TJ try to Salle that car instead you'd make a lot more!
  14. If the boats come out, then it's safe to store the 'snowblower.'
  15. Seen a few a few in Woodbridge, never heard the sounds. This morning at Yonge and Centre street in Thornhill we all stopped to make sure a fox made it across Yonge street safely at 8 am.
  16. You used it for fishing so your dad wouldn't beat you with it! LOL A comedian once said that his father asked him to "get me something to beat you with". He came back with a piece of paper!
  17. Put tubes in my snowblower so many years ago I don't remember, never had a problem since.
  18. John Powers used to use anise oil. Spilled it in the tackle box and it smelled like the liquor for months.
  19. A nice 5x7 of the finger hanging on the wall would look good. Nice work Lew
  20. I went to visit a friend who grows mushrooms in logs in Fort Erie a while back. I wanted to cook some so he picked them. Having spent the day outside on his property we had a fire while setting up the BBQ for dinner. I asked him for some foil paper, salt pepper and oil. Wrapped the shrooms in the foil, grabbed a shovel put the pouch on the blade and into the fire for a few minute. Nothing better. Yes B, I see my wife bake with her friends and I see it's not for me.
  21. When I started in the typesetting business we melted lead by the ton, and I means ton, to make fonts. The smoke was heavy and never thought of it to be deadly Today those fonts are getting very expensive to collectors and designers I have a few in my collection. I Belive they had to clean up the Canada Metal site because of the amount of lead they handled. be careful with it.
  22. Started cooking at about 12 nothing special. I got my knack on fishing trips by the time I got married I was on my way and with a family with good skills we never faded.Son in law is amazing and always looking for new ways. We never go out for the fast stuff so we enjoy what we make. I don't bake but my wife can top anyone with cookies. She has baked a large variety for our four daughters "occasions" probably 300 cookies on each. Love anything cooked out doors.
  23. I get mine cut just for the BBQ, on occasion we leave the lleg whole. If it's too cold we can do it in the oven. But mostly on the barbie. while drinking wine and tasting as we go along. I have four guys that stand around and wait What is not good for the BBQ we do in a tomato sauce and then over a fresh pasta dish.
  24. No no, marinate it for an hour. Finely chop garlic, 1/4 onion, fresh parsley, rosemary and organo. Combine all ingredients add olive oil and white wine give it a good mix and brush/ pour over lamb and keep in fridge for an hour or so, longer is better. BBQ unrill done you can baste with the marinate while it's cooking.
