  1. I've had a Craftsman 4 hp 21 inch cut since 1989 runs well and does my needs. Where abouts in Brooklin GBW? My son in law runs the CT store in Bowmanville and lives at Winchester and Thickson Rd. I visit as often.
  2. If anybody sees anything like this on Simcoe, tell him I want it back.
  3. Lew, here is a dumping that went totally wrong off Florida. I also wonder how much damage and animal is life killed when one of these monsters settles on the bottom. ROWARD COUNTY, Florida -- In the 1970s, nearly 2 million tires were tossed into the ocean in hopes of creating an artificial reef. Now, a study is under way to see if the tires can be removed since they are actually damaging the coral reefs. The Broward County Environmental Protection Department is partnering with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, U.S. Navy Salvage Divers and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Marine Debris Program, to conduct a pilot project to remove the waste tires from the coast. The tires cover 36 acres of the Osborne Reef off Broward County. The reef is 7,000 feet offshore of Sunrise Boulevard at a depth of 65 feet. Osborne Reef is an artificial reef made out of concrete jacks arranged in a 50-foot diameter circle surrounded by the extensive tire field. The pilot project will collect sample tires to determine how the tires can be collected and disposed of properly. The Navy, along with the U.S. Army, will also conduct a feasibility analysis to determine how the cleanup of the tire pile could serve as a training opportunity for military divers and watercraft operations.

  13. Sorry to hear about your loss; a lot of :asshat :S out there looking for a quick $. I park in an underground where I work and just recently noticed a camera in the ceiling at the exit door, maybe you can ask them if they have one and get the tapes. My son in law a few years back got his car taken (Honda SIR) out of a Canadian Tire parking lot at 1 pm. He is the GM and when his employees asked where he went for lunch he told them he hadn't gone yet; maybe not you but the car did, NOT a trace of it. Good luck.
  14. In January we are taking our children on a cruise, one daughter has a child 1/1/2 we will be driving to the airport with him in a car seat. And then a short cab ride to the hotel and then to the ship (fort Lauderdale FL). She has been told she has to bring his car seat . . . for the cab ride and then have it with us for the trip. Has anyone had any experience in this situation? The other day I was driving home and seen a woman in a cab hold a toddler in her arms!!!! Do the laws change when you are in a cab or a bus as far as car seats go? Thanks

  19. Driving home from work I end up driving behind a trailer carrying two TO police horses. The nice officers pulled the trailer to the middle of the street (left turn lane) put on the flashers, passenger cop gets out and goes across the street to get Timmies (trailer wouldn't fit drive through) as traffic was stopped I was going to ask him if the horses were getting anything, but decided not to press my luck!
