  11. Welcome to the board. I have a publication/map (looks like a folded map) that was done by Durham Tourism (1998). It has all of the spots and types of fish species with illustrations and type of food they like, lures to use and peak season etc. very comprehensive little guide. I've had it for years because of my tourism connections. I'm not sure if they still have them but it's worth a try, If you want to contact them here is the info Tourisn Durham PO Box 623 Whitby ON L1N 6A3 Tel 905 723.0023 or 1800.413.0017

  13. Well I've been a typographer for 40 years. In 1993 I got into the advertising end of it and have worked on some great accounts Lexus, MacDonalds, Harvey's Sleeman, GM etc; for the last 10 years it's been mainly Ontario Tourism and the Bay. My daughter followed me and she works on TV spots for Canadian Tire. But every two years or so I also bring you Guide to Eating Ontario Sport Fish.

  20. A beer cap! Many years ago an operator on Simcoe required a deposit to bring beer on the ice. If you didn't bring back every bottle and cap you lost the deposit. A cap fell down the hole and deposit was ALMOST gone . . . I always carry a powerful magnet and sure enough after bouncing it off the bottom I caught it. Lesson learned, always carried extra caps after that just in case.
