Yes, gorgeous lake. Love it there. Ive never had luck jigging lakers there either, always on the troll. There are some big trout in there too!! S.

Its got decent bass, but when I fish there its for lakers. I use downriggers, and have good luck on a gold #60 williams wobbler with green tape on half of it. Usuallyy troll between 30-50ft down. Great beach, and beauty area. There are some good rainbow lakes up there too. Little Esson is stocked, as well as mountain, and clement. Get on the water at first light and slow troll a small gang rig with a big wolly bugger about 18" behind. No weight. Lots of good bass lakes up there, and yeah, elephant is stacked with pike! We have a place on grace lake. Been fishing up there for 25yrs. A good day trip is the beach at the north end of grace lake. Beauty spot!! S.

I'm a little different I guess. I can't stand lakes that are lined with cottages, and I really don't like most of the people who own these fancy mansions on the lakes. To each their own. I'd head up towards haliburton/bancroft area myself, but that's just me. S.

Can I ask why a labradoodle? They are typically for families or people with allergies to dogs.....really, that's the only benefit to them. Just asking.... I'm a lab guy thru and thru. The one I have now is my 3rd, and I'm sure there will be a 4th, and possibly a 5th. I have a friend with a doodle. He's very high energy, but otherwise a great dog. He even uses him to retrieve ducks/geese. S.

My MK has been connected to my battery for as long as I've had the battery. Why disconnect it? I've never had an issue. I started with the plug, and a breaker, but always had issues with one or the other, so hardwired it all direct to the battery and its been running perfectly for the last 4 years like that. S.
