Just plug the intake line on the transom, and launch the boat. If water still gets in, you know its not the plumbing. S.

You know, if you wanted to pay my way up there, I'd be happy to help ya. I am a carpenter after all.....we could have the floor on and walls up in a couple days no problem!! I even have family up there I could visit at the same time! Just sayin!! Lookin good though, your making good progress. Looks like you set up the foundation properly, and that's the most important part. Keep things straight and level from there, and the rest is easy! S.

Sorry for your loss Matt! I lost my dog a year ago canada day and it still hurts! I have a new buddy now, and I still sometimes catch myself calling him the wrong name! It sucks, but its the right thing to do, and he had a great run! You will miss him, but the memories will be there forever! Sorry man! S.

IF your set up right, you can mark your lure on your graph. S.

My pockets have butts in them all the time. I do toss the odd one, I admit, but I also make an effort NOT to litter them. Off topic, but another pet peeve of mine is empty shotgun shells. Drives me nuts! The person who comes up with biodegradable butts is going to make a killing! S.

Yes, PM works as well. S.

I had a caravan for a few years, a while back, and it towed my 16ft'er no problem. It hauled a hell of a load too. I think i put almost 400k on it before I finally got rid of it. I didn't mind it at all, except that it was a mini van lol

What Steve said. I do it that way almost every time on the water. I can stop the boat if I want. S.

Have you given it a good dose of seafoam yet? I bet that will clear a lot of it out. S.

I like the down east salties better after using both types. S.

I havent fished baptiste for quite a few years, but the pike in elephant lake are crazy. I havent caught a musky there for years, but there are supposed to still be a few around, and they're big ones, still left from before the pike got in. No problem to catch a dozen pike in a few hours fishing. We used to catch a lot of muskies in there!! Walleye are hard to get, but we still get the odd one now aand then casting spinnerbait in the cabbage. Bass are aa dime a dozen, I dont ever target them, but catch lots fishing musky/pike. S.

I'm not disagreeing with you, or trying to start an argument, just having a discussion. Its not MNR staff that make the decisions, we all know that. Its the higher uppers that need to get their heads out of the sand. MNR has known this was going to happen for years now, and have done nothing. The problem is the timing of making their decisions. Local fisherman and residents could inform the MNR better than the MNR can themselves about populations in the lake, they are the ones out there the most. Do you really think MNR biologists spend enough time to get accurate data? I'll tell you straight up that they don't. By the time they collect enough usable data, its already too late. I don't know much about nippising itself, and I've never fished it, but I do know a little about fish biology, environmental effects on lakes, and ecology. MNR= Ministry of NO RESULTS This whole province is a joke when it comes to natural resources. S.

People who have spent their whole lives on the water over generations are fisheries encyclopedias. MNR staff are book smart. There is a huge difference.

Ive never used one on my '93 engine, and I trailer with the engine tilted up and locked. Transom hasnt budged in all those years, and many many miles. Just sayin...

Time for a new wife hahaha I have never lived in town. Always rural. Thats just how I roll. S.

Ha...you must work for the MNR. I agree, there are a few competent people within the MNR, but they are nothing more than puppets.

Rice Lake fishing guide - Recommendations?
Sinker replied to fish_d00d's topic in General Discussion
There's a good idea. I would do that as well....free of charge....as long as timing etc worked out for me. I honestly don't think your going to find a guide on rice with a boat big enough for that many people. S. -
Credit cards are the devil. If you need to put it on credit, you don't need it. S.

Nice rig!! Way better than the pontypool boat you were looking at!! Nice score! S.

Rice Lake fishing guide - Recommendations?
Sinker replied to fish_d00d's topic in General Discussion
I don't guide, and I actually don't know of any guides on rice that could accommodate a group that size. Sorry. If you want some general fishing info, shoot me a pm. You might be better off renting a pontoon boat in Bewdley for the day and trying it on your own. S.
