The other night my black lab started HOWLING in his sleep! No word of a lie. It scared the crap out of me! I got out of bed running to see wth was going on, and he was laying in his bed sound asleep!! He barks and growls in his sleel all the time, but howling?? Like really? S.

Yep, all good advice. I really believe in the solunar tables and weather changes for musky. If you do raise a fish, go back there at a peak time, and usually they will hit. Sheild lakes can be tricky. Some lake big muskies will be found over deep water chasing bait, while the next lake, they are structure oriented. If its a new lake, I would start by trolling, just ti cover water and locate structure. Once you find something interesting, work it over casting. Im a first light/last light musky guy, but on windy/cloudy/ stormy days, anytime is a good time. Also, every colour will work, as long as its black and orange!! What area are you headed to? Im sure there is someone here with experience on the water you plan to fish. That kind of info is gold!! Good luck!!! S.

Ok, that was a little over exaggerated, but it has a ton of hours on it!!! LOL S.

I have great landlords too, but its a two way street. I take care of the place like I own it, add things to make it better, keep the place up etc...... thats just how I am.....but there are a lot of shady people out there. The house I am in right now was desyroyed by the previous tenants. The landlord lives in AB, and trusted the tenants, but got royally screwed over! Im talking thousands to make the place liveable. When I first came to see the house it was disgusting!!!! Trash everywhere. Inside, outside....everywhere. I told her the place wasnt even liveable and she didnt belive me! When I took pics and sent them to her I realized what was going on, and felt so bad for her that we took the place and cleaned it all up, made the property nice again, and shr hasnt said no to anything we've needed. Its a great place now, I love it, but its been a lot of work for us. My gf is a property manager, and the horror stories she has would blow your mind! I guess you just have to really be careful what tenants you pick. S.

I'm in the same boat and I would never do it. The only way I would do it is if my kids were renting the place. Being a tenant sucks. I've never rented in my life either, until now. It sucks, but whaddya gonna do? S.

I have a japanese made yamaha built mariner engine. I would bet my paycheck there is a million hours on it. No kidding. I'm like mike, I do a lot of trolling, and rack up the hours. I've had to replace a head gasket in the 20 years I've had it. Did the impeller once a few years ago. Right now I have no reverse gear, but that's a whole different issue. The power head had been bullet proof! Pre mix, 2 strokes are hard to kill. S.

If somebody is where I want to be, and there is enough room, I'll get to talking distance, be a nice guy, and shoot the bull. If I don't get the right vibe, I leave.
