KawarthaAngler Posted July 19, 2018 Report Posted July 19, 2018 Pulled up next to me at a stop light. It was in mint condition. I believe it is the 1961 - 1965 German Amphicar 770 Convertible.

Stopped for ice cream on the way home from the boat long ago and there was 3-4 of them in the parking lot, must have been some kind of club meeting. Edited July 19, 2018 by OhioFisherman

John Bacon Posted July 20, 2018 Report Posted July 20, 2018 Did they have steel "hulls"? They may go down pretty quick if they've been exposed to a little too much salt.

There's an abandoned 57 Chevy on an island out in G'Bay (outside Pointe Au Baril I think) that I'd love to photograph someday. Would love to know it's story
