I seem to remember a few years ago, a member here caught a bass in Florida on vacation using a hotdog wiener.

Used to use chunks of hot dog wieners as bait when I was a kid on Lake Aquataine. Caught quite a few Catfish and the odd Largemouth this way. lol

Hahahah I actually tried this for walleye and it worked surprisingly well

I shouldn't be sharing this but, a few decent bass (a pound or two) lots of carp, crappie the size of your palm and lots of bullhead about the same size. You won't set any records but it's a great way to spend the day if you can't get out of the city.
