kickingfrog Posted June 17, 2014 Report Posted June 17, 2014 As Ron White says: It's not that the wind is blowin'. It's what the wind is blowin'. Not safe for work video (language): http://shelby.tv/video/vimeo/28271386/ron-white-hurricane
Pikeslayer Posted June 17, 2014 Report Posted June 17, 2014 No Twisters in Streetville but my flip flops did get soaked and made for some slippy walking.
Gerritt Posted June 17, 2014 Report Posted June 17, 2014 Something messed up is passing through us here.....
spincast Posted June 17, 2014 Report Posted June 17, 2014 (edited) along with a lot of roofs, trees, and at least one truck. This place has better weather coverage than the weathernetwork. hope everyone is OK - I was in one in Carnarvon a half dozen years ago. Incredible what 90 seconds of wind and water can do. kickingfrog Posted June 17, 2014 Report Posted June 17, 2014 After the Barrie tornado in '85 black clouds/skies don't concern me as much as green ones do.

Raf Posted June 18, 2014 Report Posted June 18, 2014 (edited) we had a funnel cloud here in grand valley but it did not touchdown. hope everyone's ok in angus. i think that first pic you posted drifter is from last year, saw that one form around kenilworth/mount forest and then head east along 9 with me behind it. i think that photo was taken by dave patrick, a local stormchaser. not sure why its being reused. Fisherman Posted June 18, 2014 Report Posted June 18, 2014 Quite a number of houses damaged in the Gold Park subdivision on the 5th line, roofs and second story gone on one row of houses, neighbouring streets had siding and shingles missing. Other local areas had various damage. 12foot springboks shed is gone along with some stuff, he's alright, little bit shell shocked, back at home with us for now. It rolled through here at 5pm, man what a blast of rain and wind. Hope nobody was hurt.
misfish Posted June 18, 2014 Report Posted June 18, 2014 Talked to my sis around 9 last night. She was showing a house on the same street as that U haul that was turned over. She was scared to death.
12footspringbok Posted June 18, 2014 Report Posted June 18, 2014 That was a whole lot of bull crap... Back yard is completely screwed 100 feet to the south and my roof would have been gone. Most of my ice fishing and camping gear in my shed has been destroyed... Unreal could have been way worse though.
Gnote Posted June 18, 2014 Report Posted June 18, 2014 That sucks man, hopefully you can get your stuff back together soon.
misfish Posted June 18, 2014 Report Posted June 18, 2014 Holy crappy camera work Batman!!!! When I starting watching it Dave,I was saying, drop the ^$& camera and see if anyone needs help.
