  1. I haven't stayed there in the summer, but I did stay there for some ice fishing. The facilities were great and the people who ran it were awesome. Absolutely no complaints at all. Hope you have a great time Cheers
  2. I was just at Radioworld and was speaking to sales regarding these very questions. First, you can't network Elite and HDS units. You can network HDS units together and they will share waypoints. If I remember correctly the gen 2 HDS units can transfer and share one transducer. cheers
  3. I currently have 5 BBQ's. 2 for tailgating, they are just small Weber propane's. I have a Weber Summit we got 2 years ago. Great BBQ very even heat and tons of space for entertaining. I have a Big Steel Keg (bought prior to Broil King buying them) charcoal bbq. Its great for cooking low and slow or I can get that thing scorching hot to do up some steaks. I recently bought a dual fuel smoker, propane or charcoal. Much easier to control the heat so thats where i do my long cooking pork shoulders etc. My next purchase (don't tell the wife though lol) is gonna be a La Caja China (china box) I love cooking whole hogs and this baby will do one in about 4hrs and makes the best crackling ever. Hope to have that for the spring. I'll post some pics of the BBQ's a little later. Now i got the hankering to cook! Cheers guys!
  4. I believe Artisan is the parent company of Rapala and Normark
  5. I think you also have to keep in mind the current water levels. Simcoe was down this year. Im not sure how often the maps are updated.
  6. Got a couple of hours in at Frenchmans today. Didn't do too well. Maybe one or two hits but that was it. It was my first time out this season so I more wanted to set up the flip over and check gear before I head up to Simcoe and my cottage for a some more fishing. Ice was good. Still can't get comfortable with all the cracking the ice made though...lol Hope someone had some luck Cheers
  7. WOW! Awesome job. Congrats. What a great site with lots of great information. Thank you for doing some a great job! Cheers
  8. Hey Guys, anyone been out on Frenchmans lately? I drove by today and saw a few people. Just wondering if there are any reports? Hoping to get out on Thursday Cheers!
  9. LMAO.......outstanding.....but BAD! lol
  10. I'm sorry but I have to disagree. As soon as a cop turns on his lights he is taking responsibility for himself, the rider of the bike and the innocent bystanders in other vehicles. What they do is assess each situation and react accordingly. I've been on this board for awhile now and know if a cop decided to pursue a guy on a bike and that rider lost control and killed himself, or another motorist, people on this board would be tearing him apart for acting recklessly and would demand his head. A speeding ticket isn't worth a life.
  11. if your getting backlashes when your flipping it is more of a reel set up then the size of the weight. What I usually do every time I switch bait is once the air is tied on I hold the rod about a 45degree angle from the water and hit the release button and let the bait fall without touching the spool. If it backlashes then I adjust the spool tension knob until it stops pulling line just as it hits the water. This usually works for me and I only get the bird nests if I'm not paying attention... Hope this works for you Cheers
  12. I've thrown the rig a few times. Its brutual on the arms. I've caught a few fish but nothing to write home about. I feel I can throw a swimbait more accurately and more times per hour and with less stress on my arms and gear. Cheers
  13. Another thing to check is your fuel lines. Make sure not cracked. It may be sucking air. Cheers, hope you get it figured out
  14. I just filled mine up in my dodge. 32bucks was bad. The manual says it will give you a warning light approx. 500km from being empty. I was on the red in the gauge and still must have had more then 500km left since I didnt get a warning light. 2.5gallons gives me just over 1/2tank. No reason why anyone should run out of it, at least not in the Dodge. Cheers
  15. No reason why GM doesn't have a diesel in a 1500. The Dodge diesel was actually a motor designed for the Cadilliac STS for the Europe market.
  16. My prayers are with him and his family
  17. Just a FYI...the link doesn't seem to be working..
  18. Sorry for your families loss..... Thos Mepps are awesome......I think your bang on framing that stuff up....It would look amazing on a rec room wall...
  19. well now you can expect them to be out in full force, with even more of a presence...
  20. I believe the 121l tank was an option on the outdoorsman trim package. I've been down pretty low on the fuel gauge and only can squeeze in about 77l so I believe the tank on the Big Horn is 80L. Having said that I'm getting close to 1000km per tank combined city/hwy. On the highway I sit about 6.5l/100km or about 35mpg. Right now my mileage is at 9.5L/100km, 25mpg but that has been mostly city and pulling the boat. I live in Whitby and for the past 3 weeks have been working straight days in downtown Toronto. its costing me approx. 12$/day in gas return trip. IMO the Dodge is the way to go, especially if your looking at saving some gas but still want the power to yank around the toys. Cheers
  21. Does it float? lol Sweet ride! Been trying to convince the wife we need RV of some kind. Gotta show her these pictures! Cheers
  22. Oh course! I always forget about that place Thanks
  23. Hey All, Can anyone recommend a place in the Whitby area for trailer tires? I notice one of mine is starting to crack. Thanks in advance Cheers
