spincast Posted March 8, 2013 Report Posted March 8, 2013 So, used to be, right click on the image, select properties and you could select the image to paste in the image link on OFC. Since the upgrade to photobucket, that method doesnt seem to work. Anyone else experiencing this? Anybody who can point me to a solution?

DRIFTER_016 Posted March 8, 2013 Report Posted March 8, 2013 Yes it's changed. You now click on the little cog/gear in the top right of the thumbnail. Then on the menu that comes up click on get links.
fishindevil Posted March 8, 2013 Report Posted March 8, 2013 Is that for mobile or pc ?? I always use my iPhone to upload my pics to ofc from photobucket and it's always been great ... So why would they change it when there was never any issues with it?? Grrrr figures eh.....
bigugli Posted March 8, 2013 Report Posted March 8, 2013 They've made a lot of changes to various formats. Most annoying are the continuous stream of adds that follow each upload. They also removed the bulk upload that allowed a group a pics at once.
Sinker Posted March 8, 2013 Report Posted March 8, 2013 They went and messed up a good thing is what they did. Now it frustrates me, and I can't see any pics on any websites that are uploaded to PB. I'm no techie, but if anyone knows how to make it work, please let me know! S.

Think I may have sussed this part - I had to "opt in" to the new site. what a PITA. Almost like selecting the wrong skin and being locked out of a forum

Then somehow I was able to switch back to the old photobucket. Wish I could tell you how, but I honestly can't remember??? original photobucket was 10X better IMO
spincast Posted March 9, 2013 Author Report Posted March 9, 2013 yeah, I did that for a while - but they dont support that anymore - have ou tried using (uploading or linking to pictures ) it lately? ended up spending a lot of time on the "how do ...?I" page. definitely not an improvement - kinda like vista compared to xp.....

lew Posted March 9, 2013 Report Posted March 9, 2013 I also had a few issues when I 1st switched over to the new format a month ago, but now that I've got it figured out for the most part, I actually like it better than the old version, and find it quite easy to use.
