NO WAY.......he caught it in the summer...... :whistling::rofl2:

It's a fallfish, all over the Kipawa area. They are great pike bait and I've caught them up to 4lbs.!

never knew they were called Fallfish, always called em suckers. Learned something new everyday! In AP i have caught them in the 3+ lbs range. They do put up a really good fight for a sucker

They are closely related to Creek Chubs, not a sucker at allwhistling.gif

The mouths are quite different, though it might not look it in the photos.

The mouth was straight foreword... I could lip him...

 

Suckers the mouth is pointed down...

Nice fallfish. Have caught them while fishing for brookies north of Belleville in Cold Creek many years ago.

They are obviously quite different than suckers. They hit small Panther Martins.

 

Just curious if it was caught in the St. Lawrence or a small feeder creek?

St Lawrence trolling cranks for walleye in 20 feet of water on a break that goes from 0-80 feet real fast...
