solopaddler Posted April 12, 2011 Report Posted April 12, 2011 I always wondered what somebody with 5 million dollars worth of fishing equipment did for a living.
DRIFTER_016 Posted April 12, 2011 Report Posted April 12, 2011 That's the second biggest lathe I've ever seen!
troutologist Posted April 12, 2011 Report Posted April 12, 2011 I fly around in a twin and look for walrus. Also sneak up and attach satellite tags to them.

DRIFTER_016 Posted April 12, 2011 Report Posted April 12, 2011 You have the best job ever ! Obviously you have never been anywhere near a walrus haulout.
troutologist Posted April 12, 2011 Report Posted April 12, 2011 Obviously you have never been anywhere near a walrus haulout. Ya its definitely ripe. But still not a bad way to spend 6 weeks a year...hopefully once I climb higher in seniority, I can stop being the one to dress up like a walrus and roll around on walrus/polar bear inhabited beaches....I thought that was what summer students were for???
mercman Posted April 12, 2011 Report Posted April 12, 2011 flyin in the Twin, not stinky old walruseses

Bitsmith2k Posted April 12, 2011 Report Posted April 12, 2011 Here's where I try to spend as little time as possible. if your screens would have been wider, you'd have a duplicate setup to me.. right down to the high contrast visual studio..
OhioFisherman Posted April 12, 2011 Report Posted April 12, 2011 Keeping an eye on OhioFisherman and I haven't done a very good job at it lately No worries Phil, a glance once a year or so will do, I don`t move fast enough to get out of visual range.
