What's the largest bass you ever caught?

I caught a 6lb LMB using a hula popper on Loch Garry near Alexandria, way back before they killed the lake by draining too much water into the city reservoir.The lake froze right to the bottom, killing everything in it.

I might have caught a nickel largemouth when I didnt really care or think of weighing 2 years ago. But for now a legit 4.8lb smallmouth on a Strike King Series 5 sexy shad

6lb 3oz smallie, caught on watermelon sinking worm... I thought I was snagged, and then the "snag" took off like a freight train

I've caught bigger, but this is my most memorable. Over 30 years ago... I don't feel old enough to say that.

 

The fair haired one is my brother who's got about 100lbs on me now.

Mine was a 4.9lb smallie on Simcoe last summer. So close to a nickle but yet so far...

I have one smallie that weighed 7 on an old scale. Hard to sale just how big it was. I have a couple at 6 and several 5 pounders.

mine is OH SO CLOSE to that. 5.4 on a jitterbug at night in the same pattern. all others have not been measured due to many reasons but I think I broke that mark this year on Lake X. I will be gunning for the 7LB mark for my next target. I know I've come close to 6 or just over but no scale at the time...

as for LMB, this was my PB, that I estimate between 5-6, it was 21"
