    Where along the Credit river can you catch these smallmouth bass?

    Well I bought a Rapala RSC 8 foot rod last year , my reel has 12 pounds main line and I will be using 8 pound fluorocarbon leaders and size 8 gamakatsu hooks. Will this be good for fishing steelhead and salmon at rivers like the Credit and the Humber?

    I'm pretty sure it was catfish because some people beside me were only catching catfish and using the same bait as me , worms.

    I'm also figuring out if I will use braid or mono as my main line, If 12 pounds or lower is the way to go then I will use mono, but if I need to use higher than 12 lbs. I will use braid so I would have normal capacity.

    oh, I'm using a spinning rod ,not float.

    Float fishing. and yes I will am using a Spinning outfit.

    I am going to get a rod soon too, so the type of line will help me choose that also.
