Chris Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 Haha just rubbing it in to them Sens fans ! Besides, Im a Bruins fan so I shouldn't be pokin' fun at anyone. They've lost 10 straight.
TerryC Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 Guigere could be the answer....Just a month too late. Once again, there always next year. Clarence

lookinforwalleye Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 I dont hear the fat lady as of yet...Dion says were not out yet...3 games till olympic break. Only 6 points out I belive.. You wish you were 6 out, try 10 out and the Flyers have 3 games in hand.
fish_fishburn Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 The refs really sided with the leafs last night.
JohnF Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 The refs really sided with the leafs last night. Ah, you saw them kick a couple of those pucks out from behind Jiggy, did ya? Us Leaf fans were hoping no one else would notice. JF
JohnF Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 plan the parade? Only if you really want to, but personally, I think you'd be wasting yer time. JF
irishfield Posted February 7, 2010 Report Posted February 7, 2010 Headhunter has all the barracades stored in the basement at Queen and University. Pre-selling window seats as well in the building.... for those interested!!!
canadadude Posted February 8, 2010 Report Posted February 8, 2010 Best game they played all year, the whole team was clicking on all cyclinders, nice to watch after Fridays fiasco and the Burke tragedy it was great to see the team come together. It's seems to be a closer more effective team since the all the trades but I know it's still early to judge them
Carp Posted February 8, 2010 Report Posted February 8, 2010 I've been a Toronto fan my whole life. I take the good and bad, but it's sure sweet when there's lots of good. Even if they're out of the playoffs this year, at least there's something to look forward to next season. GO LEAFS !!!
blaque Posted February 8, 2010 Report Posted February 8, 2010 Yeah, thanks leafs for keeping the sens under the Sabres for another night. Way things are going though.........Buffalo is going to be looking up at them before the break. Although, a loss to the leafs may really screw with the heads of the Sens lol
ciceri Posted February 8, 2010 Report Posted February 8, 2010 Nice to see them win, congrats to Schenn, and Kessel seems to be finally be getting back on track.
bigbuck Posted February 8, 2010 Report Posted February 8, 2010 They are looking like a team now. I think they got rid of the cancers they had (I hated Blake personally). They may make the playoffs yet!!!
blaque Posted February 8, 2010 Report Posted February 8, 2010 They are looking like a team now. I think they got rid of the cancers they had (I hated Blake personally). Youch!
Guest ThisPlaceSucks Posted February 8, 2010 Report Posted February 8, 2010 i think blake was the remnants of the "culture of entitlement" burke often spoke of. the sad thing is, blake is now on a definite contender.
bigfish1965 Posted February 8, 2010 Report Posted February 8, 2010 Statistically they have less than 1% chance of making the playoffs, but they do look more confident with someone in net who is better than a pylon.
jughead Posted February 8, 2010 Report Posted February 8, 2010 Prior to the trade they were in 28th place in a 30 team league. Since the trade they have moved to 29th place in a 30 team league.
daryl0815 Posted February 8, 2010 Report Posted February 8, 2010 I am a big leaf fan, and the changes that have been made recently are great, it has been a long time since Toronto has had a goalie as good as JS, but the playoff ship has sailed, I just hope they get above 5th last so they avoid giving Boston a lottery pick.
Roy Posted February 8, 2010 Report Posted February 8, 2010 Press conference at the Bell Centre at 4pm today. Looks like Gainey is going to be reading the classifieds tomorrow..
solopaddler Posted February 8, 2010 Report Posted February 8, 2010 Press conference at the Bell Centre at 4pm today. Looks like Gainey is going to be reading the classifieds tomorrow.. I've been thinking about Gainey ever since news broke about Burkes young son passing away. Not sure if his daughters passing has anything to do with his recent decision but wouldn't be surprised if it played a part. My heart goes out to both of those men. I'm not sure how I'd handle it myself. Terrible situation.
Whitespinnerbait Posted February 8, 2010 Report Posted February 8, 2010 the Burke tragedy it was great to see the team come together. I'm hoping thats not what it took to get them motivated...
dave524 Posted February 8, 2010 Report Posted February 8, 2010 it has been a long time since Toronto has had a goalie as good as JS, but the playoff ship has sailed, Have a feeling its going to be a replay of the spring of 2006 when another JS stepped into the crease and did everything but stand on his head to steal a few games and post an impressive final 11 games of the season without a regular time loss and a 9-0-2 record. Unfortunately after that performance he tanked the following year. Deja vu
