bigfish1965 Posted January 25, 2007 Report Posted January 25, 2007 We have created a temporary home for the LAke Simcoe message board until such time they can get their site back up and running. Welcome to the site. Once they are back up, we will merge the new forum back into this one.
ccmtcanada Posted January 25, 2007 Report Posted January 25, 2007 Welcome Lake Simcoe messageboard members!
Joey Posted January 25, 2007 Report Posted January 25, 2007 The community pulling together. Way to go guys. Welcome Member. Joey
Carp Posted January 25, 2007 Report Posted January 25, 2007 Welcome to the OFC family Lake Simcoe message board members. I'm actually a member too, but I only visit from time to time. This is my home at the OFC.
T Fisher Posted January 25, 2007 Report Posted January 25, 2007 WTG OFC that's great, I will past the word around to other Simcoe members. TF
camillj Posted January 25, 2007 Report Posted January 25, 2007 Classy move guys. Welcome LSF members !
JerseyDog Posted January 25, 2007 Report Posted January 25, 2007 I was thinking the same thing - stand up move on the part of OFC to assume duties will that board is offline. I don't even fish Simcoe, but I do like to read the posts once in a while to see how its going. And sometimes if I'm lucky, the Gbay action gets a mention, which is alway a bonus for me.
Beans Posted January 25, 2007 Report Posted January 25, 2007 I cut my message board teeth on the old Simcoe board after hearing about it from Chris' dad while fishing off the little dock at Bradford... How does one post a message in the new area ?
TJQ Posted January 25, 2007 Report Posted January 25, 2007 Same way as here... just to be clear... we are not hijacking anyones board.. and once they have it up and running we will be pulling it down... just hate to see the reports stop at this crucial time of year!! As soon as the new board is announced we will post it here and keep a link to it for awhile..
bigfish1965 Posted January 25, 2007 Author Report Posted January 25, 2007 What TJ said. We just wanted the guys to have a spot until they get sorted out. We know what it's like to have to make major changes and what it is like for the members to have to endure it. Hope the guys get it sorted soon so their members can feel at ease. Anyone taking advantage of such a situation is unethical IMHO.
Guest mistyriver1 Posted January 25, 2007 Report Posted January 25, 2007 Classy move guys. Welcome new members.
cantermore Posted January 25, 2007 Report Posted January 25, 2007 Where is the Simcoe board please? sorry nevermind, found it this time
Mike Pike Posted January 25, 2007 Report Posted January 25, 2007 What a community! Darn nice move TJ, Rick and anyone else responsible for the themporary merge. Welcome Lake Simcoe guys( I'm a member there too )! Now let's start posting those ice fishing reports! Cheers!
1leggedangler Posted January 25, 2007 Report Posted January 25, 2007 Solid move! Would hate for the Simcoe members to be missing reports at this time of year just because of political Bull. Welcome! Cheers, 1leg
