One more thing....Not sure if you can make this out. This yrs derby i pulled in a thousand dollar perch. Thats my mug on the bottom kissing the fish on the front page of our local paper. So for the next derby i am gonna be trying for the $2,500. :D:Gonefishing:

This year I want to catch my first St. Lawrence muskie. Got the Rideau and Ottawa River muskies figured out, but the Larry has been hard to crack.

From Lew:

I'll bring the Suicks and you supply the Dawgs and we'll see about getting that new boat of yours all slimed up

Crazyhook....you got a new boat???? Details please..... :w00t:

For 2007 I just hope to continue to have the physical and financial health to fish as much as I like with the all of the same people I fished with this year. On top of that I would also like to meet twice as many new fishing buds this year as I did in 06. I have one other goal that is the same as last year I hope to watch my father get his first rainbow in long long time because we didn't get it done last year. Now if I could just convince him that at 71 he doesn't need to work 7 days a week it could actually happen too LOL.

My 07 goals are short and sweet....

50" plus ski

15lb eye

to welcome my new child in to my life (somewhere to close for comfort to bass opener)

To find a Ottawa fishing partner as crazy as me, who works less than me, with a constant supply of gas/bait/munchies..... Hell since I'm dreaming...... If this someone just happens to have a 21' with a 250 verado it wouldn't be all that bad :Gonefishing:

I'd like to spend more time on the water this year and go on at least one camping trip

with my kids. I've been promising them we'll go, but something always comes up to

throw a wrench in the plans. Did the tent in the yard thing, but they want to go fishing,

wake up and see the boat waiting for you at the waters' edge kind of camping.

I can't argue with that.

100 days on the water. same goal every year. I got closest in '06 with 74. damn you work/school.

Damn, 76 days on the water is pretty good!

I'd like to fish more in 2007, catch another musky, catch a new species, and heck, why not, catch a pike or musky over 40".

I have three goals this year;

1. Catch a Whitie through the ice... never tried it, looks like fun!

2. Catch a Laker through the ice... never tried it, looks like fun!

3. Catch a salmon/trout off a pier in the fall, tried it, only caught smallies!

Here are my goals....

1) Spend lots of family time with my wife and kids on nice spring/summer days/nights fishing.

2) Catch my first Salmon

3) Catch my first Muskie

4) Take a long weekend...rent a cabin on a lake...have a guide for the first day and then my wife and I the rest of the time on the water

In a similar thread earlier, I said I wanted to catch my first pike....but I did that last week
