  1. The boat shops sell a kit for that. It is basical a kicker plate on a swing arm that you lower when needed. It comes with threaded rod to couple to your main for steering.
  2. I'm not wett certified but I am tssa licensed for gas oil and propane. You should never insulate around a liner, for one the insulation will melt. the top of a s.s. wood liner is frekin hot. Years ago gas liners were insulated at the top and then cemented in, I now make a living changing these because the insulation retains water and promotes rot. They also used to pour bags of vermiculite (the white granuals in potting soil) same result rotting liners. I am having a wett certified installer install a wood insert in my home thursday so I'll ask him. I would have attempted the install myself but a cutting torch is required to get my liner past the baffles in my existing fireplace. One last note do not install the wire in the chase(it will melt), bring your electrical out the front and across the hearth Brian McCrostie McCrostie Mechanical
  3. It took my mini weiner 10 years to swim.. funny thing is only the back half floated, front half sunk like a rock He never ventured far out.
  4. Its going to be an excellent boat! The parent company is huge, I'm sure Lund will adapt to the technology. Look at who's experience they can tap into. Baja the leader in offshore fiberglass tech. lowe crestliner bayliner Lets not forget this is one line only, I'm sure by the time your brand new barron gets replaced even fiberglass will be old news. I thought I heard a fiberglass hull on the ips frame. They are trying to fight the tracker.

  11. In Ottawa most of the parks, canal are run by the National Capital Commision In the east end they expropriated a poor farmers land to 'expand a greenbelt' Poor old timer fought it with every ounce and dime. His buyout was no where close to market values. Within 5 years the NCC changed its 'vision' They in turn resold the stolen property for millions to big block retailers. Ottawa also has bylaws on boats Almost as bad as condo corps

  15. I'm repriming a well pump right now.... Which of the two pipes should I fill ?????????? Big -top small Bottom Thanks for the replies, we tried for a couple hours last night, but alas couldn't get it primed. The situation is a shallow well jet pump, we primed both of the lines and the pump. still a no go, twice during the operation we got close with a little water flow but it stopped almost instantly. My buddy had just changed his foot valve down in the well. Is it anything to do with the pressure tank? I suspect a frozen/cracked line to the well.
  16. Since I couldn't break 15lbs this summer, anyone got pictures of what I'm trying to catch So what nobody on this board caught a big muskie last year?

All trucks have there purpose. Every one has a fit. Some are for POSERS, others are for soccer moms, Chevy's are for those who don't wanna push 3000lbs of steel! On a more serious note does anyone else here realize the price of the porsche cayanne turbo is 150,000 canadian now thats an expensive grocery cart.

  22. Living in Ottawa, we hear about it all the time. It should be the trip of a lifetime! Pick your species than pick primetime. I've never been myself but every second french language fishing show seems to be taped there. If you need a translator, I'm your man!
  23. They all look awsome! They will all produce for you. Somewhere, sometime. You will owe the seller a beer for every musky you bag this season. Top water in low light. Bucktails through the weeds. Persistance will pay.
