  1. I remember seeing a Princecraft in the classifieds with a mast mounted on the front 'trolling motor deck' via a seat base. The trolling motor has a lot of torque (up to 100 lbs on 5' shaft) so the deck has to be quite strong.
  2. Isn't your vehicle galvanized steel that has been painted?
  3. Someone may be able to truthfully say be able to truthfully state that they are not aware of any issues. But to claim that "there has never been an issue with any Yammy 50 that has been modified in this way."... How could anybody know that nobody anywhere has had an issue with a motor that has been modified?
  4. Mercury has the power steer option; that would be a great feature. Without it, loosing grip of the handle at speed could easily flip the boat.
  5. There is a solution for that
  6. The problem is that when someone keeps issuing 'the sky is falling' type warnings all the time people will eventually catch on and just assume that you're blowing a minor issue out of proportion. Then when there really is a serious issue people won't be paying attention.
  7. I don't see anywhere where is says someone shot themselves in the shoulder. One was shot in the shoulder by another member of the hunting party; another was found in the bush with a shoulder wound; the latter may have shot themselves, but that is not specified. I too am having a hard time believing that none of these people need to charged. Don't deer hunters have to where orange?
  8. Did you hit the back button after posting? That may take you back to before the post was made. If it happens again, try the refresh button.
  9. I agree that Ezra Levant is biased and unprofessional. However, he does include some facts along with his opinions. We shouldn't automatically discount something just because his name is associated with it. There are some real questions about Suzuki's behavior and hypocrisy.
  10. So facts don't count if they are from Sun Media?
  11. I think the default for Rogers is ~$7 / day for roaming. I am not sure about other carriers.
  12. Start with the simple. Clean the battery terminals and make sure you have a good connection there.
  13. Dressing for the beach
  14. For who? Even with last nights loss the Leaf's have won three of their last four games. Hasn't Ottawa lost five in a row counting overtime losses?
  15. I think pretty well any of the standard seats should support your weight. The pedestal would be more critical than the seat in terms of supporting weight. The only ones that you should avoid would be the offset pedestals that are designed to give you some extra leg room. I wouldn't trust them to hold 280 pounds.
  16. By no means do I consider him to be a great mayor. He wasn't my first choice for mayor last election; it is highly unlikely that I will vote for him next election. Having said that, he has done some good things; and I would still take him over Miller.
  17. I am sure there are others that could have got it done. But he is the one who did get it done.
  18. A lot of the money for the atlantics is private money donated specifically for this program. It isn't available for other uses. If the atlantic program is scrapped then it is unlikely that this money will be donated for other fishing programs.
  19. I am pretty sure this is a fake story. I have a really hard time believing that there is any truth to it.
  20. 1. Dealing With Relatives One man solved his problem of too many visiting relatives by borrowing money from the rich ones and loaning it to the poor ones. Now none of them visit! 2. Hazardous A nurse showed the crop of new young nurses around the military hospital. "For you, ladies, this is the most hazardous area in the hospital. These men are nearly well!"
  21. I think my Cabela's 5mm neoprenes are about 20 years old now. Still no leaks.
  22. Good idea; that may work if the population is still confined to a small area. It won't eliminate them once they spread but could control their numbers.
  23. Thanks, does this utilize the thermocoupler that controls the safety for the pilot light?
  24. Warm clothes and sleeping bags. I do have a natural gas fireplace. Even though the fire is turned on and off via and electrical switch; it does seem to work during a power outage. I am not sure how that works.
