  1. Great fish. Lake Erie sure is producing some monsters. Thanks for the pics and report.
  2. Nice fish, Congrats and nice to see your persistence paying off with a beauty fish.
  3. Congrats on a great trip in the park and I hope you have a great summer up north. Thanks for the report. Mike
  4. Looking better every year TJ. Is that an Elk shed? Maybe just the camera angle but it looks a bit long for a moose shed.
  5. Looks tasty Roy and congrats on the new motor. Mike
  6. Interesting link Paul. I remember watching that episode on the history channel. Sure was interesting. Thanks
  7. I've only been hit with a surcharge once in 18 years of tripping and it was only an additional $20 per man. Who knows what will happen this year though.
  8. Better yet for entertainment, put them onto a school of sheepshead and they'll be entertained for hours. From what I hear they have a bit of experience with them.
  9. I've been watching the ice reports and sattelite pics form the area and you should be good to go. Most the pilots are up flying getting planes all prepped and there reports of most lakes being partially open and on edge of clearing completly. As for the three yonguns going with you I wish you luck. Sounds like going to have to spend most of your time showing them how it's done and baiting and remvoing fish from there lines. Good Luck to all of you and have a safe trip Mike
  10. Congrats on sticking with it Pete. I don't smoke and there was still no way of keeping up with Lew casting. I think it's that daily practice he gets while the rest of us are still out there working for a living. Mike
  11. Other then making sure the shaft is the right length for your boat. The only advice I like to offer is try to match your motor to your main one for fuel supply. It just makes it easier using one fuel tank for both instead of fitting a second one on the boat. So if you have a 4 stroke go for the 4 stroke kicker and same with 2 stroke.
  12. Great looking fish Jer. Congrats Mike
  13. Sounds like a pretty good day on the water. Congrats but too bad about the transducer cable.
  14. Sorry to hear about your mothers medical problems Lew, but glad to hear they found and repaired some damage. I bet she'll feel better then ever in a few weeks. It's amazing how much a blockage can slow a person down and repairing it is so much easier on the body. I hope she has a rapid recovery.
  15. Nice fish Congrats on opener success and I hope you enjoyed the meal. Mike
  16. Great work Mike. Congrats on the successful camp opening and you sure have a beautiful peace of paradise up there. I hope you have a great season there and opener goes well for you. Mike

  19. Congrats to your daughter on her first fish and great for you getting her involved. Mike
  20. Awesome report. One of my favorite places to visit and one of the biggest reasons to stay in Ontario and vacation here. You just can't beat what we have here in our own backyard. Thanks Mike
  21. Very nice Kyle. Looks like you have a place to live at out there. Must be awesome seeing all the wildlife. Congrats and Good Luck out there. Mike
  22. I was checking ontariogasprices.com this morning and Kingston is showing $138.9 a litre the highest price in Ontario. It's going to be a long summer if this keeps up.
