Been there twice and most recent last June. I'll fill you in as much as I can about the lake when I return from holidays, if I forget pm me and i'll do so then. I have lots of pics and maps I can pass along to you as well. If you search Whittle Lake on the forum you'll find my latest report. You will have a great time up there and won't find a nicer camp anywhere for a fly-in. Mike

He was so lucky that missed the truck and just caught the edge of the mirror. It would have squished him for sure. It's been all over the news for the last week, bet he will never forget that day.

Hey Roger. One of the best free launches is at the south end of Chemong Lake just at Bridgenorth at the west side of the causeway. Theres lots of parking there but it's always good to search the bass tourney sites to see if there is any others using it as a weigh in and starting point that weekend. If so do a search on marinas in the area there are lots right around there with good launches but might cost a couple bucks per boat.
