1. Sutton River Ontario. Brook trout. Have several inlaws and work friends who have gone and it's been something I've put off since around... ohhh about 2000-2001. 2. George River at Helen's Falls Quebec. Atlantic salmon, arctic char, brook and lake trout. "Almost" made it there in 2008. 3. Ekulak River, Victoria Island Nunavut. 80,000 arctic char push through a 2 mile stream during three weeks in late August. Chrome salt strong bullets. 4. Costa Rica tarpon. On the Atlantic side during May, through a couple different resorts, two anglers in a boat could potentially hook into a 100 tarpon over a week. 5. Panama or Guatemala. Roosterfish. 6. Anywhere for Taimen. 7. Anywhere in Nunavut for char or lakers. 8. Thinglevir in Iceland for big browns would be cool too. Three fish to catch... Atlantic salmon, tarpon and roosterfish. Outside of fishing I'd like to take Brenda to Scotland.

Cool! Jigging over trolling always better. But whatever works to get fish in the boat. -
Do you believe in the fishing calendar?

Resurrected!!! Because it was only just found for the first time. Awesome read. That'll get the pike slime juices flowing. -
No shortage of ski fishers here. You'll fit in fine. Welcome aboard.

Tipping the pilot on a fly in fishing trip

Never tipped! Never even thought about it. Nobody tips me to make people feel at ease, better or pain free. -
Recently saw an ad for Tamar on Temagami. Always liked that spot.

But we know Smits that most muskie guys are nutcases. lol Kept track of moon phase for about the first 9-10 years of keeping a fishing journal. In that, catches or best guesstimates of catches were also recorded. That's a long period of time to detail actually. Full and new moons are best for walleye and pike numbers caught / activity of fish. That said, (like it has been the case for muskie too in more recent years) the last quarter moon has been good for bigger fish. -
Welcome aboard. The secret with Temagami is... pray for fish every day and drown your sorrows in whiskey every night. Tough lake, but smallies are probably the easiest thing to catch there. Lots of rocky shorelines and points that usually hold a fish or two.

You pay insurance to insure the vehicle, and the dump truckers or company does to. Surely you can beat it out of both to get back what you need? Anyways, read this and thought of my folks who not that long ago suffered similar. Except that it happened in the U.S. Alot of documentation, health bills and red tape but in the end they were compensated well beyond the cost of my father's motorcycle damages and mother's care. Glad to hear you walked away from this. Still has to suck though. Get after those insurance companies.

Identifying Speckled Trout Lakes from Satellite Image?
Moosebunk replied to Sterling's topic in General Discussion
Upsize and/or fish a little deeper if possible? Rupert River area has plenty specks. A 1.5 hour drive really ain't that bad for a good day of getting into them. Write a report, would like to hear how you do. -
Shania Twain would sing... "Man, it feels like a walleye!"

Take a day off this week and lets go! My boat though... the steering never fails. lol. Good catching dood! Knew you'd be out there this weekend. How busy? The highway and E.R. were NUTS!!!

Hey man, with the little guy you're in a great but different sorta place, but never a need to explain. When my youngest was that age only Fish Ontario, OFC and F-H were around... but Lew was still kinda old then too. lol. Not the same amount of distractions in the home as there can be today. Don't blink man... it goes quick. The FB group... well, that started differently than expected and will be changing up some shortly. Just like with my own friends, the group there whether big or small is best to be more personal... more "friendly." You've always given off that vibe so you're welcome to rejoin at anytime. This summer is busy with a couple northern trips and maybe a work/char combo too but, if you come east tho and I'm around, there's a firepit in the backyard and lotsa local fishing we could try. Off work Sept to mid Nov if you have a weekend free too. Enjoy Napken! That one from Hearst has always caught my eye. Lotsa water you and Mike will dissect easily.

I may have already tried downloading and playing with the free Movie Maker (latest version) and it was still too tough for me. Will look again. Thanks. -
The "green martians" bit and all, I totally believed ya! Just wasn't sure how to best speak Martianese back to ya!

Thanks brutha! A magnificent muskie season to you this year!

Still pencil gripping! lol. Can't get the icefishing out of ya yet? What's the movie maker program you use? I'm looking for something REAL REAL dummy proof. Even the old MovieMaker 2.1 or whatever on disc would be awesome to find.
