  1. I'm sure the wildlife is happy, no having to dig and scrape for food.
  2. That's the whole kit and caboodle. Looking for something specific?
  3. Their description says it has a built in bench and floor, maybe they didn't have that part set up hoping no one was going in for a quick snooze.
  4. Head shot.
  5. Funny you mention that, my Mom always said that when making pickled beets and pickles.
  6. Well you beat me, last time I went with the boys was Kindergarden Cop around 1993. I like my recliner better too.
  7. Back to the question of which direction to take first. I would go through the US first. If there's any hiccups crossing the border you will know right away. If you then acquire anything while out west, there's no hassle of then keeping all your receipts as proof of having bought or received items in Canada, crossing into the US and then coming back into Canada. Catch my drift. Your choice, I had some 'splainin to do once, but I had all my receipts as proof. I did the trip from Manitoba back and forth a number of times. I found the leg from SSt Marie to Fargo was okay, west of there, a flatlanders dream. Tie up the steering wheel, lay a brick on the gas pedal and you can pretty much nap all the way. Coffee sucks, doesn't matter which gas/truck stop you hit.
  8. There's a new one every day, users beware. Best thing when that happens, hang up and then you call your credit card provider and ask if there's anything wrong with your card.
  9. I think you pretty much wacked the nail on the head.
  10. This will probably amount to the equivalent of a nuclear mouse fart.

  12. Garmin is pretty much at the top of the list. If you can make the trip to Radioworld in Vaughn or Durham Radio in Whitby, both are pretty knowledgeable and will steer you right.
  13. Cheap heating, it could be worse.
  14. Hey what's that white stuff.. Nice set up on the machine.
  15. You mean I should get out the ball peen hammer and break it in..
  16. Says -2 on TWM and 30km/h winds, might make some flying ice cubes. http://www.theweathernetwork.com/ca/weather/ontario/kawartha-lakes
  17. That ATV is a factory single seat configuration, adding a 2 up seat doesn't make it legal for roadside use. I have not had any getting stuck problems with my Otter sled behind the ATV.
  18. And they still flop around, besides, it's wasted space when you can put a box there to put a lot of stuff in to keep dry.
  19. I have a box on the back rack of the ATV, the auger sits on top held down by one ratchet strap. It does not move at all. The box is about 40" long, 12" high and 12" wide. Remember whatever size box you make to leave enough room to be able to remove the seat. I can still sit 2 people on the ATV for short runs.
  20. It's always a sad moment when a pet passes on.
  21. No motorized use after 1 Dec except snowmobile, other times ATV and dirt bike are allowed but you must buy a pass. I don't think trucks are allowed there at all anymore. http://www.ganaraskaforestcentre.ca/Motorized_use_FAQs_brochure.pdf
  22. How about a cargo rack that slides into the trailer hitch or have something fabricated like it to stand the sled upright. http://www.cabelas.ca/product/46609/cabelas-trailgear-2-folding-cargo-carrier
  23. Toyotas are not the most fuel efficient by any stretch, reliability on the other hand is good.
  24. Well dang, there you go all fixed shiny and new. Enjoy the Yamaha, it's a fine ride.
  25. X2, only ever tried it when it was free. I'll leave home 10 minutes early or use the back roads.
