  1. Very nice, we definitely have more around our area this year. Hopefully they have an easy winter and increase their numbers.
  2. Well we haven't had that much up here, matter of fact the Notty and Pine were still running clear and have not come up at all.
  3. Amen Manitoubass2!
  4. Now here's one thing to keep an eye on. We have 2 of them at work however the 650 model. One of them has leaked engine oil from the right front corner of the engine, (passenger side if it were a SxS) Apparently something to do with the oil pump seal. The other had electrical faults in the transmission and then wouldn't recognize the keys or start. Good luck.
  5. Wish you luck, some of those low wing models can be a real witch to fly. However when they're up there, they sure are nice to watch.
  6. Around here, the weekend either side of Remembrance Day. There's the odd storm that comes but melts on the roads. The next 2 weeks still look reasonably snow free.
  7. Ya, 15 minutes ago Air Canada called and offered me $900 off my next trip. Well that would mean you're going to fly me pretty far for nothing. Right!
  8. It's a doozy, you really have to have some imagination.
  9. Oh my, that was not what I meant. Overstuffed, sort of like a beachball having difficulty moving with any grace. Sorry if I offended anyone.
  10. How about a reality check.
  11. I wish we could build a moat around the golden horse and then they could stick it up their Vote for either of the two clowns and we'll be in red for so long even our grandchildren won't be able to pay it off.
  12. Nice, the big bird was good today, I feel plump after all the potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, carrots onions and turkey. Then came the Mocca cream cake, I'm sure my blood sugar took a little spike.
  13. Used to fly and boat, lots of fun. One of these days, maybe a small plane again. Still have a 3 foot electric tug and a 6 foot sailboat.
  14. Looks like MB, Mitsu, Mazda and Honda all pollute more than they say. https://www.facebook.com/topic/Auto-Emissions/109481375744144?source=whfrt&position=1&trqid=6203975480581842273
  15. Probably won't make it to N/A. I've seen one Chev Cruze D since they came out, not impressed.
  16. Yup, just like Mazda and Subaru were going to bring diesels, still waiting.
  17. Bingo, you win, and there's a few other exceptions, like political canvassing, etc. I've made a couple complaints to the DNC list about Air Canada, appears that nothing is done because they keep calling.
  18. Not all go south, some hang around and will eat the suet cakes, etc.
  19. What did I say above..it's a territorial thing, my pecker makes more noise than your pecker, metal objects, like stove pipes, amplify that. Now for the why: Male woodpeckers are not drilling for insect food, but calling for a mate. And the louder, the more important the male, and the better his chance of attracting a lady woodpecker as his mate.
  20. It's a territorial thing with them, big noise, big territory.
  21. 3M5200.
  22. Brian, don't know if you've seen this contraption, might give you some ideas. http://www.iceshanty.com/ice_fishing/index.php?topic=297573.0
  23. Whatever the vehicle manufacturer indicates, with a good quality torque wrench. I don't allow torque sticks to come near my nuts.
