  2. believe me the last thing I would vote would be liberal I'm just not blind to the fact that democracy is a farce and only those contributing big dollars have any say in the way things are run. I look at my income tax when I file it. I check it every year at both the federal and provincial level. Who keeps the most money in my pocket is who gets my vote. I
  3. As if there is any choice between one crooked politician and another.
  4. American Hustle is a character driven drama. If you enjoy watching great performances without a whole lot of content to the story you will enjoy it particularly Bale and Adams. Think Silver Linings Playbook. That being said Dallas Buyers Club has both great acting and a very moving story and would be my personal recommendation.
  5. Towed witth my caravan blew my transmission. Put tranny cooler in after rebuilding and never had a problem agaiin.

  11. I find myself this year with exchanging my weekends for long weekend mid week every week doing a lot of solo tripping. I have a pontoon boat like this http://coverbonanza.files.wordpress.com/2011/04/32-009-010501-00_h.jpg but I use it for day trips only. It is great but not as good control wise as a float tube on still water but is superior on rivers to a float tube This is what I just bought for my tripping http://www.oldtowncanoe.com/canoes/recreational/pack/ Its large capacity and low weight make it the ideal solo adventuring vehicle

  15. Ling in Lard. It's got me salivating. No worries in those young arteries. Sounds like a good day.
  16. Cuz good guys get involved with murder and robbery. He was involved with the crime by his own admission he just didn't kill anyone.
  17. A black man was convicted by an all-white jury in Louisiana 30 years ago following a capital trial that was constitutionally deficient in almost every way. Now he may be released from death row not because the courts remedied the injustices that swamped his case but because prosecutors believe another person committed the crime. Prosecutors believe the recent account of a confidential informant who claims that one of other four original co-defendants in the case, arrested long ago along with Glenn Ford, was actually the person who shot and killed Rozeman. This is not news to Ford. For three decades, stuck in inhumane conditions on death row in the state's notorious Angola prison, he has insisted that he had nothing to do with the murder and that he was involved in the case only after the fact. Any exoneration is remarkable, of course. Any act of justice after decades of injustice is laudable. It is never too late to put to right a wrong. But what also is striking about this case is how weak it always was, how frequently Ford's constitutional rights were denied, and yet how determined Louisiana's judges were over decades to defend an indefensible result. Read more: http://deathpenaltynews.blogspot.com/#ixzz2vmiV1WAq Dude wasn't a good guy. In no way should he have been convicted of murder but he should have spent some time in jail.
  18. Equal parts of both. Welcome to the board. The way to enjoy it most and get the most out of it is to become active. Active members often get info shared with them.
  19. While I agree the death penalty should be removed this guy was far from innocent. He was involved after the fact with covering up the crime. Regretable that an "innocent" man was almost executed but this guy was no babe in the woods. The cops didn't pluck him at random off the street. He was involved with the crime he just didn't pull the trigger.
