Hey guys, I'm 5'9" and 220 pounds and I can't find a survival suit to fit me. I've been looking for 2 years now but every suit I look at is for someone 6'4" it seems. I can get them to fit in the chest but the legs are about a foot too long. Nuthing up here in the Peterboro area and I just got off the phone with Gagnons, BPS and LeB's and their suits are all for tall guys. Where the heck do the un-tall and un-thin buy their survival suits ??

I'm running a 150 Yamaha 4 stroke Mike and after 2 seasons it still purrs like the day I picked it up, and I have full confidence that a smaller Yamaha would be excellent as well.

No offence to you Vinnie, but I have a real hard time feeling sorry for anyone that runs outta gas, specially when it's not the 1st time it's happened. Doesn't take any time at all to gas up before you launch the boat.

Hey Joe, I wonder if you and I were even talking to the same guy yesterday. When I called in the afternoon there was no hesitation at all when he said they had one small cabin and 2 motel units still available.

Boatland Canada is a Merc dealer and probably has them, or can get them for you. Hwy 115 just north east of Bowmanville

Good to hear I'm not the only one who jacks up the trailer for winter storage. I actually raise mine high enuff to get the tires completely off the floor then support it all around with a bunch of jack stands.

Thanks Roy, lookin forward to it, I haven't made the fall trip since our 1st g2g 4 or 5 years ago. I also asked about the reserved docks and was told that no, none will be reserved but there will be enough for everyone...hopefully.

Harrison and I are now booked into cabin 7 at Merlands for the 19th & 20th and there's still 2 motel rooms left. As of 2 hours ago anyways.

There was a post here a coupla weeks back where someone was asking if it was worth spending the extra $$$$ to buy Knipex cutters rather than cheapo side cutters for musky fishing. This was the EXACT scenario I used to explain why Knipex cutters are worth their weight in gold. You get hung up on a large musky with a couple big trebles buried in your hand and if your Mickey Mouse cutters won't work, your in HUGE trouble, specially if your alone in the boat. If your fishing for muskies, BUY THE PROPER CUTTERS. Kudos to you Bruce for helping those boys out !!

That's really fantastic Steve, congrats to the pair of you !! To win a tourney is great, but to win it while being partnered with your Dad is as good as it gets.

Don't know what they are but I've had them popping up all over the place in the last week or so. I've seen them grow up to 6" high practically overnite.

Welcome home Rich, I've been waiting for your report and great to hear your Dad's doing OK now. Sounds like you & Patsy had a great time despite the lousy weather and lack of fish, but the scenery in that area more than makes up for it. Everything working out good with the new boat ??

Don't think I've ever bought anything thru the OFC classifieds but I've sold LOTS of stuff over the years and have never had a problem. Every person that said they wanted something I was selling showed up at the arranged time with the agreed on loot. Guess I've always just been lucky.

LivingLegend, don't be intimidated by a baitcaster, their extremely easy to use and with a bit of practice you'll get the hang of it in no time. Some folks make them seem like a big deal when in reality there's absolutely nothing to them.
