With the shifts I work I have the luxury of going during the week so I avoid the weekend warrior crowd. I bet the free launch was a nightmare..

This was filmed in Stoney Creek on one take. I suspect that the drone was slowed down at certain points.. I'm impressed with the flying skills either way. -

Roger and Mary jo are nice people who will ensure that you enjoy your time there.. -
It's a royal pain to get the simplest task done at home when you need a part from HD or CTC.. small town stores with less volume and an attentive manager or owner would handle it a lot better.. in the city you're just a number..
-
Lodge boats are usually more organized and numbered.. they are likely owned by locals..
-
I wonder if that's how Scugog got fished out..
-
I always start with the doctor spoon and if it works I keep using it.. I like the Mepps Syclops as well because it casts far and has good action... I tried trolling without luck so running the trolling motor and casting was the ticket to getting hits..
-
That sounds doable but all you will save is time driving up there.. now if the plane had floats that would be a different story..
-
Went out for a few hours and conditions were ideal for seeing pike chase and hit.. I went 9 for 11 in a little over 3 hours.. biggest was 31". All caught on a beat up Doctor spoon..

Never thought of that.. we usually tip a jig with some sucker belly.. -
Personally I would save the side trip for another time. If you are going on a fly-in trip you want your cold and frozen stuff to stay that way as long as possible. Cochrane isn't too bad for a one day trip. We pass through it on our way to the Nipigon.. we don't have to worry too much about thawing..

A friend of mine had his cached boats damaged with an axe. A fairly easy repair but after that he hid them better. He figured someone accessed the lake with a float plane and didn't want anyone else in there..

I used to have a cottage in Kinmount and it's a nice area but the fishing can be hit or miss.. lots to do if they aren't biting
-
I usually fish the grand but access to my spot requires my boat and they have the municipal ramp closed.. I could always take the yak.. or maybe wade in the shallower section 🤔

I am hearing that the lockdown will be extended until June 2nd.. I hope I'm hearing wrong -
You have to act fast on the good boats. When I bought mine last year I went with cash for a down payment, then went right to the bank for a draft when I decided I was buying it.. it was a bit of a gamble as it was 3 hours from my house. Mine is also a Sylvan and it's my second one.. they are good solid boats..

The ramp is open to essential launching only.. whatever that is. BOQ should be ok for fishing as long as the ramps are open because I doubt they have a marine unit patrol..
-
Bayfront ramp is open here in Hamilton and the police marine unit is actively stopping and harassing boaters. They have to leave or be ticketed

Once interest rates rise there will be less disposable income and stocks like this will drop back down.. -
My dogs found some bunnies in the yard.. not a good outcome.. if it wasn't the dogs then the weasel in the woodshed would get them..

Some Americans have tried to self medicate with it and poisoned themselves . It is a cheap dewormer for horses and I hope it doesn't go the way that insulin has in the US. Right now my daughter pays about 12 or 13 bucks per dose for her horse..
