That is impressive. It is a real world report, 630km round trip. Hmmmmmmm......

Dax, I would try eating LOCAL honey, it may help to desensitize your immune system as it will contain all the things that drive you nuts. Mind you, it will take time and it does not work for everyone BUT if it helps not having to take pills or use steroid sprays it is worth it. Talk to your pharmacist, they shouldbe able to recommend something stronger or even prescription strength which will involve a trip to your dr. Good luck!!

I think with the new pentastar 6, you will be fine for your purposes. 95% of the time you are driving, not towing. The other 5% when you are towing, you should be fine. It has lots of power to pull what you currently have. The hemi, while it sounds awesome and has tons of power is a pig on fuel, anytime you press down on the fun pedal yhe gas gauge moves towards E accordingly. The diesel would be nice but you do not drive enough to make it worthwhile, a commuter driving 30k plus a year would see the difference and benefit from it. Why dont you rent a grand cherokee for a day and try towing with it?? That way you will see for yourself.

Anybody know a professional shop who installs side imaging ducers
bigbuck replied to buick14's topic in General Discussion
Talk to Brian from JBs Fishing Depot. He is very particular about installs. -
Don't screw around, go to emerg and have it x rayed and looked at. You do not want any problems later because you did not go in.

The place is looking better, at the rate you are going, in 10 years you will have a luxury 3000sq ft mansion on the property....lol. with a real roof now, you should not have to worry too much about the snow load any longer.

Help with my Truck Value (trading in or selling)
bigbuck replied to Steve's topic in General Discussion
Kijiji. Someone will pay you more than 300 for it. You should be able to get 1000-1500 for it. Don't expect much more. The dealer does not want it, hence the low ball offer, by the time they do the paperwork send it to auction etc.... it is not worth it to them. Sell it privately, it may take some time but a grand in your pocket is worth it. -
Nutbars!!! Good on ya Cliff for yet again helping a fruend in need.

Wing and Pizza Place around Peterborough\Cobourg
bigbuck replied to Hooked's topic in General Discussion
I will second Bewdley Pizza and also Rhinos. On the weekendz, Rhinos is always busy, either the food is still good or the beer is really cold. -
If possible, take off the vent line and blow it out or just replace it. Fuel tanks need to vent to operate properly and it sounds like your's is not. Good luck gettin r done and get back out on the water.

Cliff, you did what you could for him. I'm sorry for your loss.

Good on you Cliff!! Some kid will learn a few things that he may be able to use in his life. Good luck on getting the 'honey do' list completed. Just when you think you have it licked she adds a bunch more on it. -
Finally got out for an evening fish with my wife yesterday at the cottage. It has been 2-3 years since just the 2 of us have gone out. She's a LOTW girl that knows how to jig, thats it. Down here we have to work for our fish. Anyways, drifting around my spot on X lake, she nailed 2 3lb+ smallies to my one and assorted smaller bass, perch and some decent worlds greatest sportfish. For those who know me, bass is bait but fishing for anything beats not fishing at all. It was nice to get out with her and have some fun, especially the back and forth banter. She can bust them with the best of the boys.

Nice largie!!! That made the day!

Check your fuel line and filter if applicable. Carbs aren't too bad, if you have the shop manual for your motor it is relatively straightforward. You might be able to find it in iboats.com forums. You can also post your question there. A lot of the regular posters there are marine mechanics and they are very helpful. A marina will get it going but how long will you have to wait, thats the problem now, they are busy.

The only musky caught was by the eagle!! Love the shot of Lew fishing with Dianne. Typical scowl!!! Too bad about Lakair, I was planning on heading up yhere one of these days. Hopefully the health issues get resolved, time, faith, perserverance and some just plain old stubborness are needed. Glad you guys had fun.

Northwest Ontario........ where my heart is.

You are looking at over 1k for a custom mooring cover for a bowrider, depends on the size and the material. A cover from CT or PA will be a stop gap measure while you save up for a more permanent solution.

That hurts. We had a wicked storm blow through here yesterday, but nothing like what you had. Hopefully it did not ruin much product. Good luck.

Check the fuses and/or circuit breaker to see if there is power going from the battery to the unit. Hopefully it is something that is an easy fix.

VIM. Works wonders on boat seats and vinyl.

My prayers go out to him and his family. Dumb luck, that is all it was.
